Honestly I can't say it's as good as youth, but this album is still better than "everyone goes to heaven", I think the thing this album is missing is those really good choruses with the strong melody in them, but I do enjoy a few of these songs

Atleast this way it's like a friend who knows how you feel and can emulate those feelings and that insecurity/pain into music and lyrical material. I found out about these guys when I was more or less depressed, back when they had just released Youth. Only really listened to two of their songs before I forgot about em....until last year. Don't listen to em too much because I'm in a totally different head space, but they've contiued makinh some great stuff.

Yeah lads I totally agree. It polarizes guilt plus ownership. But overall leaves room for sunshine. The sun always shines again. My partner and I almost lost each other completely 7 weeks ago initally. Her brother had another stroke, so she's been away about 1800kms. Been supportiveas fark but distant for my own reasons. But timing is key and had to put our-my shot a side and not delve into (save relationship mode). Gave me time to reflect and she called me up tonight after a few days and said. "You're right, I'am willinging to quit drinking for you, us and deal with my depression about my brother." Moral of the story woman fark up too in relationships even more than men they just in a majority of cases don't have the courage to put their hand up and admit their own faults and apologise to their partner. That's been my resentment towards her for a long time and fighting her and the bottle. Alcoholism is like a zombie trying to order a pizza and thinking they got it covered. It's never going to be rational. Tit for tat, history book arguments. Moving forward, but anyways have been listening to a lot of these guys lately and He Is Legend. This song permeates my feels through the whole process of what I was feeling. Mistakes I had made, complacement and holding onto micro aggressions of bitter resentment of her own failures towards me. Time apart gives you space and something to think about and ultimately cherish to thrive for better caring communication as what you are about to throw away (throw in the towel) And sometimes proves it does make the heart grow fonder. Been a while Citizen, but I'm going to have to put you back in the box again. My headspace is fine for now and can't wait to fall into my girls arms again.
