First up - I’m sorry I missed the shakeout with Ben and Sara and you. Traffic was ‘carmageddon.. second - awesome footage. Third - it was a very humid and crazy fog day. I was drenched by mile 4. I’m sorry to hear that someone passed away. I saw a lot of wreckage on the course, one guy at mile 5 or 6 was on the ground bleeding .. I’m amazed that you ran back to New Jersey from BK ! I saw it on Strava and was amazed that you could do that in that heat ! Bravo ! I hope we get another chance to meet.
@kofuzi2 жыл бұрын
It was really such a humid day. The plan originally was to take the train to the Brooklyn bridge and run home from there. But when I saw the forecast, I changed the route to start in Central Park, which shorted the run by quite a bit

Cool video Kofuzi .I didn't know about this Half Marathon in Brooklyn Looked like a fun day to watch some of the race live in person. One race that I would love to watch in NYC that is blazing with talent and speed from different types of runners is the Fifth Avenue Mile Many of the top men finishing in under 4:00 minutes and the Womens is blazing fast also."The Korean food looks flavorful and yummy.Moroccan food is one of my favorites but growing up I ate more typical American food and once in awhile my mom would make nice German dishes.In NYC you can find many local authentic food places from all over. The fog looks like it would be fun to run in despite the humidity of it.
@irunovermountains2 жыл бұрын
This was pretty cool. I actually ran past you at the start of the race, but didn't shout as you were talking into the camera. Also, I live alongside the west parkway - it's the best flat running in the city and also leads to the best hill running in the city, north from Washington Heights.
