Now that is how you test a unit. I love real, technical videos, it's not just an advertisement. Thank you. Subbed

Glad you liked the video. I try to make my videos things I would want to watch myself. Too many videos out there tell you the same stuff that I already read on the website when researching it. Like to see if it will do it in real life! Thanks for your comment!

I love your math skills! lol, I am a teacher what can I say. Great video. I want to buy a backup battery but do not know if I should buy a more powerful expensive one. I live in Miami Fl and we have hurricanes with power outages here.

It all depends on how much you want to run, and for how long. As you have probably noticed, it gets much more expensive the bigger you go. I have recently discovered EcoFlow, and I tend to like their products more then Jackery since they tend to put more powerful inverters inside them, however the Jackery's are extremely simple to use, and are overall very well built devices.

Hey there. Good review. I think the 12v is a 5mm plug. You may get some varied results with the fridge stocked as well.

Hey Shabs... Will my run time improve if I connect a inverter... If not, how about running my CPAP from an extra car battery? 🔋

8mm plug to 12v car adapter. I guess. You don't get much for 160wh do you?

I looked that up but it looks like the adapter you use to recharge the Jackery from a car 12v outlet. Seems like there are pros and cons to each Jackery product. This ones pro is budget price, and ultra light weight, but at the expense of capacity and recharge speed. I have a string light that I filled with LEDs, and this thing powers it well, and for a long time! Thanks for your comment!

I have a 24V 3.7A ResMed brand CPAP Machine and a Jackery Explorer 160. Can you tell me if it will run my unit and roughly how long. Your reply is greatly appreciated. Also, if anybody else knows, that will suffice as well. Kewl video and Thankx in advance! 👍🏼

Jackerys can do 12v or 120v. they don't have a 24v port. However, assuming you have a AC/DC power adapter that plugs into standard AC outlet at 100% efficiency, 24v x 3.7a = ~89 watts. If it pulls that much, then you are looking at 1.8 hours. Realistically you can expect about 80% efficiency, so maybe 1.4 hours? A better way to estimate would be to use a kill-a-watt meter to see actual consumed wattage.

@@uthe54 As Samuel L. Jackson would say from Pulp Fiction.... "Look at the big brains on Brett, you're a smart mf!" 😂 I would have never figured this is without your help. Thankx so much bro! Sadly I need at least 7hrs of portable run time, so it's clear my Jackery just jacked me of those additional needed hours.... Bummer! 😢
