Running a Household Fridge Of A 12v Inverter

This is a short video on my current campervan layout. I have a VW T6 LWB van and have converted the rear into a day van.
I have full electrics and 200w of solar on the roof, charging 210ah battery pack which powers a 3kwh inverter.
I also have a 1000w inverter purely for the fridge which is 240v.
I havent turned the fridge of in several months and the battery pack hasnt fallen below 70%.
This video shows how its done. Its a lot more efficient than running a cool box.
Please only try this if you are competent in your ability. I cant take responsability if you blow yourself up! Dont try this at home !

Clever way of hooking up the inverter and fridge there James, nice to see more of the van too. Linking the solar on top and I see you have an Internet antenna at the rear and a radio antenna on the front wing. Well appointed 👍

Thank you. I was really impressed with the fridge setup. Yes it’s a 4g antenna at the rear. It’s all kitted out nicely. But it’s an ongoing project so there will be changes soon 👍

I have the same fridge planing on doing the same thing. Do you think a 800watt inverter will do the same job ?
