Hello! I just found ur channel last night and wow I’m obsessed! Im not sure if you have any Alocasia black velvet plants but if you do, what are some suggestions to clean the leafs? I just bought one and it has water stains.

Hi hi thanks for stopping by 🪴🥰 I use a Neem Oil Concentrate Mixture to clean all the plants leaves. You probably seen me cleaning leaves with a bottle of something and a microcloth in other videos that’s what it is! You can purchase Neem Oil Concentrate on Amazon here: amzn.to/4eFnc1b You have to mix it with water and a mild dish soap to create the mixture and put in your own spray bottle. It has instructions on the bottle how to mix it. I use a microfiber cloth and the mixture to wipe the leaves front and back and that helps with the stains. 🪴💚

Wow. Your nails look professional!! I do my own too (I’m plain Jane though 😆) and would love to see you do another channel/business about nails! Separate question… how often do you find you have to water your plants in your aroid mix? I have some in a chunky mix and find it hard to gauge how often to water. Thank you!! 🙏🏼 😊

Aww thank you!! I am still trying to get better and experiment with things so I can be more well rounded! It’s always nice finding another diy nail friend 💕 💅🏾 I def need to go ahead and make a separate page for that! So for all of my plants in aroid mix, my general rule is just water them when the mix is dry! So pretty much this room gets watered all at the same time once a week usually. I prefer my plants dry vs overly wet just in case. I also keep the fan on in here 24/7 so it dries it out faster than usual. If you want to go a little long def add some humidity and they will stay moist longer. My plants in the cabinets and display cases stay moist for a few weeks in aroid mix due to humidity!

Wet that perlite down that dust turns to silica, also Coco coir is a nutrient lockout material, please do your research and stay safe 🙏🏼✨

Based on the health of her plants, I think it’s fine and maybe you should do your research as to why she might be using that.
