As a cashier of almost 10 years thats the least to worry about. The worst is ringing up a $35.46 order, giving change for $100. Then "oops i forgot this", then adds another $5 thing you gotta make change for again. I've had that happen up to a 4th time making change for one person. I was about to ask if they were pranking me before they finally turned around. AAAnndd its bowling, so you get those people who want to bowl 20 games, same day every week and pay 2 games at a time, coming up every 10-15 minutes. Like thank you sir for making my 10 lane night feel as busy as 50 lanes.

as someone who has worked in retail for years, it is VERY normal at least once a month for the first customer that comes in right after open to pay with a $100 for a $5-$20 purchase. problematic irl because when you first put the tills out they only have so much in them to start the day lmao james' shock tells me he has never experienced this, and I'm honestly glad he hasn't good thing he doesn't have to experience the sweat covered money during the summer either! 😅
