Very nice video. Clear and not over explained. I like your narrative explaining the “why” behind your decisions. I have been interested in Leaf batteries for a while. Since they are pouch I have been hesitant but your build process looks good. Very good video again.

actually the best way to connect the anderson pins is flood soldering with a propane torch

I'm missing where you list the parts and sources you found them and prices etc? I'm trying to decide if I should order the LC-3 connectors from Tech Direct instead of the next step up connectors you are using. Can you add these details to the blog if they are not on there yet? Also, from 9 min to 14 min you explain how to connect the wiring but you never show a visual and this leaves me to try to blindly mimic your interior placement of the breaker components and wiring. Could you take the cover off and take a photo of the guts and add it to the blog please???

I don't really recommend this approach for a 24v system to others. It is a 6S system, and the low voltage compared to a 7S system means that I have to keep it topped up for my powerjack inverter to work correctly for my well pump with it. The wiring diagram on the whiteboard in the video is complete, but does not include a BMS (I'm relying on my charger to balance charge the modules, and due to the low voltage 6S configuration, the inverter never draws the pack voltage anywhere near the bottom.) Go with 4x six volt golf cart batteries unless you have other reasons to use Litium, and finding a 7S configuration would probably work better than the 6S Nissan Leaf modules.

@@summetj Ok thanks I almost got there. The end of the title is not visible on the phone where it says part 6. However, the beginning of the title refers to the repair video. That was misleading.
