I think it's good to see Abarth using shorter intervals. Too many manufacturers are stretching intervals too much for my liking, especially with heavily boosted engines, The old Impreza and Evo had 4000 mile or shorter service intervals and you're running a lot more boost than they did...
@StefABtv7 жыл бұрын
+JayEmm on Cars thanks Jay, yep I remember my old Evo 8, very short service intervals on that car!

You guys in UK are so lucky. The 595 Competizione goes for at least 18k€ here in Portugal... got a 2010 SS for 12.5k and it was one of the cheapest out here.

Engine braking vs brake pads ? It's always cheaper to replace brake pads at the wheels rather than beat on the clutch, cv joints and transmission and also the engine components. I'll let someone swap brake pads and rotors at the service shop over rebuilding an engine or transmission any day. Price a clutch job vs resurfacing/replacing rotors & pads.

10k was pretty cheap ngl. Looking to buy a 695 rivale in the future but it's 27.5k € minimum rn in Portugal . . . really want to have an Abarth, so in the future will probably go for one of the "stock" 180cv options, with the prices in Portugal used for sure xD

The math isn't right on that, 10.5 gallons and 250 miles is 25 mpg, if that's combined city highway, do the algebra on city miles and highway miles and you'll know what you get city/highway. No way around it, that's what you're actually getting. 49 mpg for instant read is totally inaccurate for real world driving. you'd be getting 490+ miles on a tank. You're getting 250 miles, about 1/2 that range. My 500 Sport computer tells me I'm getting 40+ constantly. Sometimes it'll bs me and read 57-60+ mpg instant calculation. I'll wind up with a range of 340-360 miles depending upon how hard I drive it, how I feel confortable about how long the gauge has been stale with one block of lights for fuel remaining, and end up pumping 10-10.2 gallons and the tank will fill to the neck with close to 11 gallons at the pump before the fuel starts to run down the side of the rear quarter panel & onto the concrete. So I'm getting around 34-36 mpg with 101 hp in a US model. The average computer read for mpg is between 33.2 to 33.7 mpg. And a lot of this depends how much air pressure are in the tires. 36-38 psi all around and I'm getting better fuel economy. A month or few into that air up and the tires are holding enough air to get fewer mpg while still being fine enough to keep the tire pressure sensor from lighting up the dashboard. I've found 29 psi sets the front tire sensors to light and read to check air pressure. More like 27ish psi for the rear tire pressure to indicate it's time to reinflate all the way around. At that low air pressures, the avg. fuel economy is still 32.2-32.7 mpg. Anyway, mine does better than the 27/34 for the 2013 Sport w/ 6 spd auto, maybe not as good as the 5 spd manual rating or actuial ?

500 is reasonable for insurance. Nice to know. Stef have you ever compared the comp to the Turismo? Interested to know how they differ
@StefABtv7 жыл бұрын
+0tispunkm3y3r main difference is seats, exhaust and suspension mate. Think it's different for series 4 cars as the comp is 180bhp but on the series 3 both were 160bhp I believe
