It was rough getting this one together on time, but I made it! Keep your eyes peeled: I'm considering starting up a campaign diary for a game that in theory will leave the ground soon, but I want to make sure the first few sessions go smoothly.

These are super useful, could you make a video that summarizes the plot of the campaign at some point? I find it odd that the official campaigns don't seem to have an overview of the grand plot (other than kill strahd) it makes it difficult for me to vizualize my goals and road map and makes it hard to make plot tie-ins in various places.

Thanks Jack. I could make a video like that, but in my opinion, modules can and should be run differently for different groups and by different people. Each time it's run by a different group the plot will come out a little different, depending on what the players/dm find interesting. I could make an overview of the major plot points and such, but it's not my place to say how the plot of the overall campaign 'should' unfold.

@@sack1501 fair enough, still thanks for your notes and experiences I like to do a lot of research into other dms choices and see what fits and what fails. This way I can avoid certain pitfalls.

Aw shoot. I love that idea of using the escaped hag later in the campaign to deny pcs long rests, but my players just killed the whole coven at bonegrinder. Oh well.... I am a new DM and this is my first campaign. There is so much detail and memorization in this module. These videos are very helpful. I will definitely be watching your Villaki video. That is where my PCs are about to enter and I am struggling to figure out the timeline.

Vivian Ryder I feel you! I’m having the same problems because it’s not linear. I am also a new DM and runner no this campaign is no easy task.
