Did the Dragon in my GT500 two years ago, and it was one of the coolest driving experiences imaginable. I can’t imagine doing it in a McLaren or an R8.

@@jakewalker886 not sure what year he drove, but my dad has an 07 GT500 and it’s a fun car. Just a couple bolt ons, billet lower control arms and lowering springs. Handles pretty well, pulls pretty hard and fun to drive. And the thing is it’s not nearly as fast as other cars out there, but it is fun.

@Mike H No its none of the above, they weren't driving too hard for him, and he isn't a bitch. Actually its the mountains, not only is the car rapidly turning left and right turns, but its combined with up and down. The up and down momentum constantly shakes your insides up and down, like a giant ship on the ocean. Thus motion sickness breaks in. The drivers always have less of a problem, because their bodies can somehow adjust within the 1 second they are aware of what's happening. The passenger is just there for the ride and thus takes the brunt of it. P.S I live in Charlotte and own a vacation log cabin 1.2 miles off the tail of the dragon (plenty of experience)

I did the Dragon with my Shelby GT350 last year with a 100 Shelby's and these Shelby GT350 were made for this road. Handling and with sport 2 cup tires was top notch and we'll be back again this year with more Shelby's .

I hope to see you at the dragon one day soon! I live in NC just about a half hour from tail of the dragon. I am getting a SS 1LE next week to celebrate my 24th bday. It will be my first muscle car. Just test drove a regular SS 6 speed manual and I am in love. This is my first manual car as well and I had a blast during the test drive. Especially the rev match downshift. I don't care if an auto is faster, that manual was fun.
