Aberdeen is also birthplace to the rock group The Melvins. Not as huge as Nirvana, they inspired Kurt to start a band and have toured the world for over 30 years. Hope Buzz Osborne gets his own park someday. 🤟 Tá cónaí orainn go léir faoi dhroichid.

I live in Portland and my wife's a veteran we're looking at a house up in Aberdeen, WA its close to the the 7-11 off the 101 and the Kurt Cobain memorial is to the right of the house looks like a. 15 minute drive, is there any places for food you'd recommend or what the environment of Aberdeen is like?

We have a large homeless population. Drugs are to blame, along with the rise of rent. Most jobs around here min. Wage. It's pretty rainy most of the time.

@christopherkline-g7y Жыл бұрын
How did you make this video without mentioning the over population of homeless or the huge meth problem. Also why did you not go under the bridge at Cobain bridge, there are thousands of signatures from people all over the world.

Cobain said that this city was like a horror movie and that's how it looks hahaha...I also imagine that he saw it from a critical perspective, typical of a teenager...but it doesn't look like a nice place...beyond the typical places to consume things and some landscapes ... nice video the same
@AndrewComenout10 ай бұрын
Anybody that lives in Aberdeen knows that he never lived in the green house only tourists think that just cause the park is right there. He did hang out alot under the bridge and he used to play his guitar alot there. that river is the wishkah River which gave him his inspiration for the album "From the muddy banks of the Wishkah" cause when he used to hang out and do his dope or get drunk there before the planet was having the climate change it used to either rain, mist or just straight be foggy about 9-10 months out of the year and it would get real muddy under there.

Aberdeen is pretty bad to live in unless you have money. Nirvana and Kurt Cobain are way overused. we have Mudhoney and the Ramones way better bands. B Theres a few nice places to eat though. Billys and The Light House are good while the taco trucks are over priced to high hell

Aberdeen gets weird concerts because of its isolation. Aged or broke rock stars do shows there in the middle of winter on a weeknight at a ballroom downtown to prep for tours or production issues. One of the Heart sisters did that with a side band and the singer of Motleys Crew did the same years ago. These are not casino tour shows. Maybe the locals cheer on these types instead of not showing up or laughing at them.
