I remember a january back in 78 or 80 when it warmed up to +44 and rained for 2 days then dropped back down to - 35 or -40 the roads were so slick when the school busses would come to a stop at the big bend corner to turn to go on down to van horn rd where the bus barn was back then they would start to slide down with the slope of the turn there. I live in Soldotna now it dont get that cold down here but we do get a lot of freezing rain that makes the side streets slick . if your walking ,you practically have to do it on all 4s if you don't have cleats on. We call it the "soldotna shuffle"

Hi quick question how warm does it get there in summer in mid August.
@juliakruger7575 жыл бұрын
hey, I was there in june last year and it was pretty hot actually. I think we had at least temperatures over 86°F some days and in mid august it should be little bit cooler I guess, maybe 68-77°F. But it was also the hottest summer of all time, they said. I hope that I helped you ;)!

Well gas is cheaper in Alaska... Fml 😐 roads are better... Off topic questions what brand are your kayaks and what did you pay. ( i spent $350 at dicks sporting goods for a 375lb carrying than another $75 on a paddle) if that's cheaper I'm moving to Alaska!

Man Keith, that was awesome. Just being able to see snow again. Over 30 years of not being next to it on it around it. My son and my wife have been near snow. We have lived in Florida then in Brazil where I currently reside, sure I am MDing. Fisher 44 and the Sea Hunter Mark 2. Question I think I saw that you worked with the fisher on one of your vids. Did you like it?. In dirt she’s great in sand she picks up about everything including but limited to our favs. The never ending Pull Tabs and Bottle caps. Woohoo my favorite thing to find is a bottle cap or pull tab, I mean come on if you don’t find one then you are definitely not MDing correctly 😂😂🤣🤣🤪🤪
