omg the giving treeee. That book half made me as a kid growing up. I took that shit to heartttt. Adore it to this day. More so now for how my view of it has evolved. Growing up it reinforced me to care for others and to give and to be kind. But i fell hard into a people pleasing hole and as im recovering and learning that i do deserve boundaries and such im seeing how its also a warning. That giving too much of yourself to others will destroy you and wear you down until youre nothing but a stump for others to sit on. Endless lessons in that one
