Running GAS Zones on Vanilla Chernarus DayZ

Yo I just started playing, but those were the slickest zombie kills I’ve ever seen. Imma start looting as they drop. This is why I love discovering new DayZ content!

Yes! hitting the tab for the inventory right as you take down a zed with a stealth kill is one of the quickest way to see if they have loot.

Also I just found out you can refill gas mask filters with charcoal tablets. All this time and I never knew this lol

Yup. and on some modded servers you can combine gas filters too.

How long did it take to get all the NBC gear I recently had a run where I built a base and tried for 2 days and couldn’t get the full set

Well for this run i found half the gear off a dead guy , but it took like and hour or so to get the rest I needed. The gloves took the longest. NE airfield is where i check alot for npc gear

Dude. I've been going to static gas zones for WEEKS. Not once have I found a VSD or an M4A1 and you found both within minutes. that really makes me upset lmao

I'm sorry then RNG blessed me on those finds. I did get 2 M4A1s technically since I did the other gas zone too

Are you on official? Go to rify and you’ll find at least two rifles

Iv looted dozens multiple zones on livonia and chenarus a dozen times and i have yet to find an svd. If found dozens of suppressors, nvg sights, aks, and a few m4s. But never an svd.

Me and my friends have a base on official chernaurus, and we’ve done about 5 rify gas zones and found 2 svd’s

They recently changed loot spawns within gas zones M4s/AKMs STRICTLY spawn in gas zones, Standard and Normalised suppressors also have a higher spawn in gas on vanilla servers LARs, VSDS, DMRs and Thumper are all Helicopter/Military train spawns ASVAL and VSS have been moved from Gas zones spawns into Tisy now

How do you sneak up on zombies and 1 hit kill them

It is the sneak attack, with most sharp weapons if you attack them from behind without aggroing them. You then do the sneak attack.

I've tried several times to just stab and it never works for me. I always have to right click first (aim) and then attack
