Recorded this months ago with Miki and Misha; at the same time as the melbourne shuffle. I was lasy for ages, but here it is finaly, all edited and whatever. It's shorted than the shuffle because there's no switching or anything - just continuous "running".
I know a lot of you are eager to learn the running man, but I have a special place in my heart for the shuffle :D which is why I put that vid up first.
Well, enjoy and practice lots and lots!

I remember when I first saw this vid. I thought it was freaking impossible to learn. But I kept trying day after day, week after week. And now... I can shuffle and my friends want to learn to but they do not have the patience like I did. To all who are trying to learn shuffle. It might seem impossible to learn. That's what I thought. but it's not. I know it's easy for me to say. but just keep trying! Good luck all shufflers!

Like most of the dances today, shuffling is just a collection of various dance moves (that's why it's called like that, it shuffles different moves together), running man is one of those moves.

For over a decade I thought we were supposed to slide it backward. HOPPING it baclward makes sense! At least three positives are: save energy and soles, and most importantly - less resistance, making the backward glide more fast & seamless.

Man I started watching then jumped up out of my chair and had it in about 5 mins! Great vid! I recommend if you're sitting in your chair right now, do the foot work while sitting then incorporate the hop. Also, it's easier if you alternate your weight a little to the foot on the ground :)

maybe its a dumb question but i'm tryin this for 3 days now. I can make it faster as at the beginning, but i have always the opinion that my movement is not "flowing". I'm goin right up and down. left 2 times a hop back and all the way around. I always try to make it like in the video and can't find a difference in my efforts. Will it just come with practise or is there a trick? >.

Just tried it now, best thing to do is to not look at your feet to see if your doing it right because it puts you off balance. Keep your upper body in the same place. You'll be able to feel if you're doing it right!
