It’s crazy. I had seen this video of you telling this story about 2 years ago now and I was inspired then. Well fast forward, I started up my own metal fabrication shop specializing in production welding and design, and a year in business now, bad deals and not budgeting correctly almost took me out of business as I’m starting. Then suddenly this video of you with the audio playing of the original video pops up and as I’m listening to it, I get happy because bills are due, rent is due, workers need to get paid, and I had no work coming in. A day after watching the video, a medium sized company that manufactures hydraulic pumps for oil rigs calls me and asks me to produce different custom metal frames for them that would literally be enough money to keep my shop going for another year meanwhile I get more clients. I closed the deal, and I’m almost done with the jobs only two months into the year. I don’t know how they got my number or how exactly the chose my company over hundreds here in Los Angeles, Ca. I can’t question it, I’m just being grateful and will continue to move forward 💪🏼

Similar situation... Almost got evicted from home... Judge flouted my rights, faked my consent, faked legal documents. Mistrial, judge might lose job over this. Landlord doing the craziest stuff you can think of. Sending over thugs. Cutting off the water supply by cutting off the pipe! Turning off the lights so I slip and fall and get hurt which I did. Getting through this halfway thanks to my own wit and halfway with a good lawyer... Remember, if a judge calls you on your phone, always record all conversations, that's what bailed me out, never mind the right to privacy! People will lie, and when that comes out, you got 'em! The third lawyer I had to take... the previous two were a bust! Finally found a guy with 30 years of experience as a landlord himself and as a lawyer... Close to retiring similar to your lawyer... He knows all the tricks. He's helping me navigate everything and instead of me owing the landlord a paltry 2k, the landlord might owe me a good 50k now... due to a technicality... Great turnout against a monster landlord!
@lambdaman32282 жыл бұрын
Let me get this straight. The judge was so bad they might lose their job. Your landlord is part of a gang and has thugs working for him, lurking around your home turning lights on and off and literally severing your water pipe creating a need for an expensive repair rather than turning off the valve. Your first two lawyers both were garbage. This is the craziest story I have ever heard. A bit too crazy if you ask me. Are all these people out of line, or is there some other thread that connects them all together? Hmm...

Yo man from Australia here. Not in manufacturing although I do love the ingenuity of CNC. Trying to start my own business and plugging along, keep getting set back in the business due to lockdown's and issues just in life in general. I have a one year old girl, I'm newly a single father as her mum got extremely sick and had to go sort it out so here I am. I'm not giving up on taking care of my girl or my business, just as that all happens my business starts to get some high profile jobs that can really set it off for me. Anyway what I really wanted to say is you know sometime's when I'm down and I need a little motivation, one your videos pop up and you talk about the problem's and how you kept faith in the business and overcome them. I've been getting pretty low and you always have something to say that I needed to hear that day. Thank you Titan I really appreciate having your words to help me get through man. Titan is the definition of what a man is. His efforts are to provide and protect. He's not flawless, and he can fail. The difference is that he betters himself to try again harder and better the next time. I run a business of one, and the last two years have seen me lose two thirds of my work. I've had to train and work and try in order to grow what was a small part of my income to being my entire income. Now I'm branching that out into other fields, building a differentiated client base. It's been hard, and I've been unlucky and lucky all at once. The lessons Titan gives here are beyond invaluable. This is what our society needs to teach more of! Work hard, be resilient, fail and start again, *LEARN*

The roller coaster of business is all to well known. I have been in the automotive business for over 20yrs an 2006 was the worst year with a fire from an adjacent building catching fire to my house flooding to the IRS audit but was not laying down for nothing. Went to Church every Sunday like always knowing God would put us in the right direction. The hard part was I never just thought of only myself but the guys an their family to. Then we get back up just to get knocked back down in 2009 an sure we all know when that happened but put one foot in front of the other an worked through that. The landlord well lets just say this he got what we call karma an we moved to were we are now 10 yrs ago an haven't looked back. The company I'm retired from is one of America's oldest and largest manufacturing corporations. Every shop and other small business owner should see this. When you start , and when things are going well, it’s great. You will go through a very dark time. Non-entrepreneurs don’t get this. They all think it was easy, or only see the upside. They don’t see the stress, the pain, the taxes you paid, etc. is it worth it? Absolutely. But it isn’t easy. It’s the hardest thing you will ever do. It will make you a better person. Entrepreneurs made America. Still do. Thanks for the honesty of this video. 👍

Realizing and admitting to yourself that you have been a bad person is only bad if you do nothing about it. Make your wrongs right. I spent the time from 18-30, living off of women and occasionally stealing shit. Justified it for 12 years. Wasn't an alcoholic or do drugs, so I had zero excuses. Just lazy. It's taken me the last 12 years to make good on restitution, and get my backtrail cleaned up, finding the people I wronged or stole from and make it right, pay them what I owe.

First time I heard this solidified quite a few business principles for me. I ain't rich at the moment (not that I care, money is just a tool to fulfill my purpose,) but. I'm debt-free. The land is paid for. The shop is paid for. My tools and equipment are paid for. Making decisions every day to increase productivity and grow over time. I may not grow as fast as if I leveraged... but my worst-case scenario is to just turn the power off and do something else until I can get back on the horse. It will take time to get where I want to be, but I'm already at where I need to be.

I worked government contracting as well as in the private employment simultaneously. I got injured on the regular job in 2007, and had to have emergency surgery. I kept my phone with me but off, in the operating room. Once I woke up in post op, I turned my phone on. In 5 minutes, the cell phone rang, it was my company, firing me. They would not give me a reason. They wanted me to pay for my own insurance, which I did for 2 months until I couldn't pay it anymore. People I had been helping with $1,000's as they "needed" abandoned me because they were "fairweather friends and family." The few that I contacted after helping them save their houses and setting them up in business, they either brushed me off or sent me $50 when I needed $5,000. One Christian Russian friend sent me $1,000, God will bless her for that. My situation went down, I was physically incapacitated for many months. I focused on government contracting and God even spoke to me to go on 2 preaching missionary trips to Mexico, one in the fall of 2008 for 17 days, and another trip for 6 months in 2009... Where... I met my wife. We got married in 2012, and I moved to Mexico. I had a dozen government contracts to work between 2008 and 2015 until I retired from the federal government. But 2011 was a horrible year for me. God turned all my friends into enemies, and I couldn't find work for the first 6 months of that year. I prayed, and told my fiance at that time, "if I don't find work I will not be able to pay my debts and I'll be in serious trouble. I always pay my debts." So we prayed over the phone, me in the USA and she at her home in Mexico. Then I went to check my PO Box. What was in there took all the stress off and I felt the money battle was over. Not completely, but that it would eventually be completely over. And, it was. The EEOC was suing my previous employer for millions of dollars to be split among several hundred employees who were illegally fired by that company. My share was considerable considering how in my true statement I told the EEOC how they'd fired me in the middle of December in a snowstorm. My car didn't work... I was riding my bicycle 11 miles one way, injured, in 24 inches of snow on dangerous roads, to the hospital for appointments. Then the way they fired me, exactly like I heard they do anyone who got injured on the job, 5 minutes after waking up from surgery... They are reprehensible. (That company got God's attention, and the founders son stole contractor's pay to the tune of millions of dollars, to buy houses to put up his mistress. His wife found out, divorced him, took half, then he was sued by the contractors and charged by the government. The company was sold, and new management was placed to get rid of the family that was messing up 1,000's of lives. Man I'll bet they wish they had flown right. Nobody is untouchable.) Thing is, it took until 2014 for the federal government to complete their lawsuit against the company on our behalf. It was September before they began sending our checks. So I had to make ends meet until then, with meager government contracts. Some of them payed nearly nothing but I had to do something until 2015. I don't know how, outside of the Lord Jesus Christ keeping His Hand on me, that I made it through that time, the hardest 7 years of my life. It wasn't easy, the first 5 years with my wife, but from about 2016 and 2017 it got much easier, and now we're sitting pretty good, and I'm getting old. The Lord has been very good to both of us, and even though we're both recovering from Covid at present, our lives have been very blessed. God will continue to bless us, I know. I've been through my fiery trial, and came out the other side believing more and having much more faith. Many of the fake believers who attacked me when I was down... They died! They thought that because it looked like I had "fallen" that it was ok to begin slandering me. That's not what it was for me, and they were judged by God while still in their flesh. Just remember this, no matter how bleak, foreboding and hopeless the path ahead looks, remember the WayMaker, who guides our steps, will never leave you or forsake you, and will provide for you WHEN IT LOOKS LIKE THERE IS NO WAY. Jesus is my Savior, I will not be moved.🎶🎵 In His Love and Favor, I will not be moved. 🎶🎵 Like a tree, planted by the water, 🎵 I WILL NOT BE MOVED.🎵🎶👍🙏

So never give up any dreams, for it is up to you to make those dreams true ! best wishes !

Its always inspiring to see other Christians to let go of the wheel they think they control and put it back in God's hands. Our struggles will continue, but with Christ I can do all things. Thanks Titan for the video, it sure helped me to see the light at the end of the tunnel today!

Love this story. There are NO coincidences, accidents or luck in this world. Everything happens for a very good reason. I believe it’s about soul evolution. Look how your business began to boom (no pun lol) when you decided to help others first. That’s what it’s all about. Sending much love and gratitude. Very inspirational Titan.

Very Inspiring! I come from the auto Collision business which is also a tough business to be in.Over our 52 years in business we have had highs and some very scary lows.We have always come back stronger and the business has been very good to me and allowed me to retire in my mid 50’s and enjoy retirement with my wife.I had the good fortune of a good friends who helped me make retirement possible by making sure the transfer to the new owners went smoothly.God Bless!

I knew a lot of machinists who lost their jobs because the owners simply could not compete with the ever challenging competition. Wish Titan was there to help them out.

Love your stories mate. Very educational. Talking about your experiences is worth gold. It crossed my mind to go over to Texas and work for you or some kind of machine shop in Texas depending how bad things get here in Sydney Australia.
