Running out of GAS | HVAC | 2 stage seer2 heat pump “COMPLETE” install

In today’s adventure, it was going way too smoothly. Started with a trip to Dunkin’ Donuts why I received an extra free coffee to go along with my avocado toast. Driving onto the way to the job site to get some gas. Approximately .75 miles away from the gas station on the highway where people drive 90 miles an hour. I ran out of gas. Pulled over to the shoulder waited for my compadre George to retrieve me and give me back to the gas station. After that was a minor setback to the job site. Everything was going smoothly until there was material that we needed that was left off the list. Waiting around got some work done, ready to move the pad out the way, and strained the ligament in my arm. Turn into a little bitch the rest of the day couldn’t move anything around it’s just the way the day progressed but all in all got the system banged out. Got the customer cooling everybody’s happy and made it home safely

hey bubba not for nothing but we tag them down for the last 20 years here in florida i am a 43 years service tech walkin coolers freezers ice machine big units 150 ton to 2 ton res i have done it all i make 58 an hour if you get good at your job but i retire this year yea it to dammmmmmmmmmmm hot in florida anymore im 63 years old i look back and think how many systems i have done in my life wow now i can kick back and play my guitar all day if i want i will be free i served in the USCG i have paid the dues and done my work now i get to kick back i think you will make a good tech and things will work out for you !

A pretty job. Good stuff man. A lot of different requirements down there. We don’t have to do the hurricane straps here in North Ga. Only thing I would have done differently is put it further from the wall because F what the homeowner thinks, thang needs ta breathe!

Like the set up for drain line clean out. Might start doing that on my installs. How do you have it set up for your float switch? Float switch had a elbow with cap? Is that a in line float switch?

The float was bad out the box, so I just put a 90 and a cap upwards in case in backed up u til we got back next day
