JoJo, I'm not sure if I've ever told you this or not but I have such a deep respect and admiration for you! The number of "city girls" who are willing to learn and do farming work, from the long hours of planting season and harvesting season to the jobs which often get you quite dirty and itchy. I'm retired and help out as I'm needed. I was raised on a farm here in SW Missouri and farming is in my blood, so I already knew about dealing with the weather, often racing to get as much accomplished as possible before a rain. You're growing into this life very well!! I agree with you.....there is no better job or way of life in the whole world!!

At 10:57 the camera pans left and right over the width of that massive head. I can’t believe the volume going into the combine. I have never operated a machine that large. You are right. It was a wonderful life farming. I miss it greatly. Thanks Jojo!

Most of the farm talk I don't totally understand but I'm catching on more. Thanks for the good descriptions of both the harvesting and equipment repairs and tech stuff. For me, it is giving me a better understanding of farming and definitely a higher respect for those unsung heroes who do this work. Thanks again. 😊

Thank YOU for taking the time to say all that seriously. I always wonder if me rambling and explaining like a 5 year old what I’m learning is good. And I wonder if having Zack explain everything in farm terms is good too! Thank you for being here and I’m so glad we can at least be entertaining! 😂

I love your silly comments but mostly it is how far you have come from being that "city girl" who really knew next to nothing about farming. Now you are wheeling the big rigs and talking the language. I've also noticed how ripped your shoulders are now. Either you are hammering it at the gym or farming is making your muscles grow and be very defined. I also really enjoy when Zack gets talking the detailed stuff. Where did he get the mad crazy skills at fixing everything without the special wrench you are supposed to need. Just fixin' it on the fly. Thank you so much for sharing your lives with all of us.

Hi Jojo.. , 0.54, what's "really rude"?.. 😂😂,.. no matter, what was really important, you got the header fixed and managed to get harvest done. The MacDon header made a tidy job cutting down low to get that flattened wheat.👍. Anyway, you and Zach are a good team,. love your videos and your enthusiasm to get stuck in, get dusty/dirty and learn, win-win for both of you.., enjoy your (short-lived?) rest now. Take care. 👍

Looks like your corn is suffering from to much rain. Here in the Piedmont area of NC many of us are suffering from the lack of rain. From what I understand a lot of the NC corn is lost this year. I was talking to a farmer yesterday day and his neighbor was getting ready to cut what is left of his silage. I seen some this week that the bottom leaves are already drying out like you would see in the fall. Where I live it's been over 3 -4 weeks since any measurable amount of rain has fallen. During that time our temperature has been upper eighties to mid nineties for much of that time. If you get tired of the rain please send it our way.
