Thank you for sharing this amazing video...i lost that battle with the mud in the 52 mile back in 2017 AND 2019...ran the 50K this year and finally crossed that finish line! You'll be back I'm sure. Congrats on getting to Dry Fork!

Any tips on training for this? It looks like a beatdown, but wondered if you had any specific advice after 2 years at the course!

Focus on hill training and leg strength. The mud is basically there the whole time so prepare mentally for that. Save your trekking poles for the wall at mile 18. Having poles with fresh arms can be a huge difference maker and I would have made the cut off if I had done that this year instead of using the poles from the beginning.Get to the mountains to acclimate to the elevation as soon you can.
