@stella: That depends on what you mean by "find". In a real epidemic, you need to look at the data to discover the infection rate and the recovery rate. In this video, we just copied over the values that we deduced in the previous video "Modeling an Epidemic".

Hi, I know I'm a bit late to the party, but, when you were finding the rate of change of the infected, why didn't you multiply the 953.4 by 0.00001, like it says in the formula.

i found the constant from this 100*number of infected/number of pouplistion .. is it correct??
