Bobby, to properly use the meter pitching you Press X multiple times. Pick your pitch, Then Press + Hold X until it's where you want it in the green/yellow/red meter. Green is at the start of the colors, it's very tiny, Yellow is the largest portion, and Red is the end. Red equals more velocity or break on the pitch, green/yellow is for more accurate and precise pitching. Once you let go of the X button in the colored meter, let it run to the bottom of the meter and then press X as it's on its way back toward the yellow line. The white line is because you're probably pressing X twice before it reaches the colored meter.

Polo Grounds. I think that is one of the most realistic stadiums in the game just the fact that they redesigned the wording on some of the parts of the stadium. But props to MLB the show Networks and designers :P

That isn't how the pitching meter works, "the little white line" determines the speed. You have to press X when the meter is in the red/yellow, if you don't press anything, the white line will appear, and that means the pitch won't be that fast. When the meter is on its way down try to press X right as it gets to the yellow line.

When the white line appears in the green, that doesnt mean thats where your second click needs to be, it means thats how much energy you are putting into that pitch. Green = lowest and red - highest. The yellow line in the blue will always be where you need to do your second click

Bobby this is great but you're using the pitching meter wrong. That "second white line" is showing up because you are pressing X twice instead of once to start the meter, then press it again when it gets near the red (this will determine how hard the pitch is thrown) and then press it a third and final time when it comes back to the yellow line in the middle of the blue section, which will determine the location. This is why some of your pitches were so off because you pressed it a third time on the "second white line" when the meter came back. Hope this helps.
