KJK’s poem was short but really hit home and we all can agree too. “ I’ll never forget how you always worked hard to make people laugh even though you felt embarrassed” Somin wasn’t even a comedian, an actor by profession but still willingly did many embarrassing acts and went out of her way to make us all laugh. It’s not easy to play the image of a love frog in television. Mad respect to her. We will miss you Somin❤

@@Bingbangbong28 JK's relationship with Somin really isn't like Sechan and HaHa, who are loud and crazy, or Jaesuk, who has worked with her on multiple shows and is also very high chaotic energy. He's really just a quiet and reserved person who doesn't show affection to women the way he does "the boys". I mean, he did do a sketch based off the badge, that takes effort even if he's good at it. At least make an effort to understand the person before you make judgement calls like that.

Let's also give props to Hyung In PD and the team for this Somin finale ep. The ep also felt like a short summary of Somin's time in RM. I was doing fine until YJS started getting solemn and stumbling on his words around 11:46 😭 you can tell he’s really going to miss her. She really was his mentee and protege of sorts. One of the first things I noticed when I started watching the show was the soft spot he clearly has for her. All the best to somin! We’ll miss you! Also side note: She’s so well spoken. Her tone of voice in her speech was much lower and mature than than how we’re used to hearing her. Every time I see her in her natural state like that I’m reminded that she really is an excellent entertainer.

These 6 and a half years were not an easy time for her, but she's pushed through & she always did her best. It doesn't feel like 6 years. I remember the day she and Sechan joined like it was last week or something. Honestly, I was one of the people who was against them joining because when Gary left it was heartbreaking and I didn't want to let anyone in to the show where members felt like family to me, but Sechan and Somin grew on me with time. I started to cherish them. When Kwangsoo left it was another heartbreak. And now Somin. I cried and now I have a headache. I wish Somin a lot of success outside of RM from now on, although I'm sure she will be successful wherever she goes. ❤

Firstly, a massive shoutout to the production team for organising this episode. I thought it was super sweet of them to make that hidden mission tree for her (and a testament to how well loved she is), it was a very Somin gift indeed. Second, the members. I can't imagine people disagreeing with me that Sechan would be hardest hit out of the members. They first made contact on that housemate show, then started RM together. She is the one coworker he can speak casually with, and one of his major partners in the show. This guy started the day being silly with her, and by the end of the episode, "we have to support her" was the saddest I've ever heard him. HaHa also has a lot of involvement with her on the show, they get to be ridiculous together. But in true HaHa style, he breaks up the sadness with first his OTT facial expressions and then "dang diggi bang", something which Somin caught onto even before he got the second "dang" out. Jongkook is quiet and observant. He doesn't interact with her like Sechan and HaHa do, he and Somin likely don't share inside jokes. So he goes with the simple acrostic and his drawing as a summarisation of her. And yet his face during the reading of their letters to Somin, all tense and scrunched up, I don't remember ever seeing him like this either. Jaesuk's absolute disaster of a rap I thought seemed about right. So much to say, so little time. His "Aaaaaah, I can't see you any more" was, I suppose a function of the same idea as HaHa's, a great deal of love, breaking up the atmosphere, a farewell without tears. His best line was "tiger moth, now you'll become a beautiful butterfly" and I think that says a lot about the mentality he approached this with. His mentee will indeed show her full capability herever she goes. Sukjin, I don't really know what to say, particularly about his letter. On one hand, he says a lot of what I'm sure everyone is thinking. We all wish she could stay. On the other hand, "nong ning naeng"? Jihyo. As the other female member on the show, there have been moments of solidarity, or Jihyo taking care of Somin. They've prepared performances together, and I think at least to some extent, having another girl on stage for high pressure feature performances (all performances are high pressure for Jihyo but fewer people on stage=higher pressure) was a relief. Finally, as a fan. Somin is clearly well loved, and I know she will be fine wherever she goes, I never worried about her career prospects. I have taken a long time to fully understand the concept of wanting what is good for someone, rather than what is easy for me to come to terms with. The RM members were clearly some of her happy people, and I hope she really does keep meeting up with her friends.

@@englishboy993 1. Somin's English significantly improved in the span of the 4 years I've been watching her. 2. It is clear she puts in the effort to create her RM character. Whether you like it is personal preference. 3. If RM was entirely about physical prowess, we would have a single permanent member Jongkook, with a rotating roster of Sechan, Jaesuk and HaHa out of the existing cast. Other permanent members would have to be drawn from retired and active athletes, or Jongkook's gym bros. You know who was truly useless in RM over the past 4 years since I've picked up watching again? That freeloader who's been caught on their phone during a segment, who some members are too scared to tease, and forces themselves on a member who clearly wants none of it.

She clearly didnt respect the prog and didnt mind to show her unwillingness to cooperate and participation. It is SONG Jihyo that disappointed Runningman fans. She fails to perform her role. Whats more, she didnt accept Somin until Somin left, and other members dont dare to make her feel unhappy and thus, somehow keep a distance from Somin. A majority of hate commemts to Somin are from SONG Jihyo' fans. SONG knows but she just didnt stop her fans evil acts. Indeed, Somin is not witty as SONG. But like other members said, she really really tried her best to fit into the role of Kwongshu, no matter how hard. As SONG has invested in YJS for a long time (she is a very arrogant ppl but she removed wet socks for YJS after a game in the past. Listen, not serving seniors like Chi Sokjin, only YJS). Thus, Somin has no choice but leave. SONG Jihyo pretends that she treated Somin kind in the last epiosde, but in the past, she barely responsed to Somin. Indeed, SONG Jihyo smiles so happy in this epidso. She never hides her bullying acts to Somin.

i was shedding tears when they are reading the poems because i just thought next week onwards there isnt Jeon Somin anymore.. she brought more laughter to the show i feel for me, than some other members did.. i feel like she is the "Kwang Soo" of the show, when Kwang Soo was on the program, he was constantly teased by Jae Suk or Jong Kook, and when he left Somin was like the clumsy and makes ppl laugh with her mistakes, she didnt mind her actress image and painted her face blue and such..and i feel i will really miss her on the show. now she can finally wear pretty dress and walk on red carpets and maybe i will see her more on Busan Film Festivals and Canes Film Festivals then on variety shows..

I'm already crying so hard reading the title of this video😭 she was really strong for holding in all her tears, given her sensible personality. I couldn't bear watching this in front of anyone as I continued to cry throughout the rest of this video. During the initial episodes of RM, kwang soo was my bias, part of the reason was bcz he was my close friend's bias and I came to like him after watching him for many many episodes together with my friend. But so min, is the one that attracted me straight from the 1st episode she's in and she is definitely my favourite entertainment star ever. Now that she is leaving RM, some place in my heart felt so empty and despite the remaining members are awesome, RM is not going to be the same anymore without so min 😭 you can tell that she really loves running man so much that, until the very end, she didn't forget to promote the show and urge everyone to continue loving RM members and its staffs. She is so calm and well-spoken, which took a surprise to me, given her mischievous character she had always portrayed in RM. She definitely has the talent to become an excellent emcee. I’m a long time Runner since 2010/2011. I’ve witnessed all the ups and downs of RM with the og members, and when I tell you somin made RM such a refreshing program, I mean it. She had the sense and wits of all the older members, able to think quick on her feet, and and never back down from any challenge; when haha got married, Kwangsoo took on the playboy role, and when Kwangsoo-Sunbin became a thing, somin stepped up despite being an actress. Naturally a deep thinker and a quiet person yet she showed us her multiple faceted persona to entertain us. I know it hasn’t been easy keeping up up with the entertainment veterans on the show, but she threw herself around and wasn’t afraid to be the butt of the joke, if it’s to make things fun. Our somin unnie, hope we get to see you more on the big screen. Please comeback when you get homesick, we are always here to welcome you home. Once a Runner, always a Runner ❤

Not going to lie, I wasn't against her joining but I didn't love her at first either. But she quickly grew on me. I loved her nose wrinkle when male guests appeared. I loved her playful character. I loved her always wanting to be a group with Sechan and Haha. I loved her bickering with other members. Esp. KJK I loved her will to want to do everything. I loved how funny she is. I loved her loveline with Sechan. I loved that she was always sunshine. So Min's presence will be missed.
