That's not even true at all. In 2015 they really struggle with low rating. In 2018/19 Chul min saved running man from the very end. Bo pil is only keeping the road, plus the covid situation had costrict them to stay still. The project of keeping it as kinda of talkshow was already on SBS mind (but without jk and ji hyo). The show its called "RUNNING man" for a reason anyway, this isnt "talkman show" that's why wasnt that simple taking a decision. You should instead say thanks to Chul min pd who keep it alive for his youngest pd like Bo pil who took 3 years to stop trembling and take confidence on talk to the members. Chul min was the one who gives him the chance and experience to make it. Plus he add somin and sechan. The capital here means nothing when they were risking all to not close the show.
