Love the Random John Kelly encounter. Really shows the toughness of the Hardrock to have a Barkley finisher taking a nap mid-race.

I still vividly remember you patiently waiting in the gym at the 2018 Hardrock 100 start for anyone not showing up on race day because you were next in line to run in case of any no-show. I still vividly remember the disappointment on your face when everyone showed that early morning, and I felt a little bit guilty to become a true Hardrocker within just two short successive years of running whilst you had to wait - yet again. So glad your perseverance over the years has paid off - fantastic! You're a true inspiration, Jamil.

Its absolutely insane how effortless you make this look, while filming AND on top of all of that, moving at such a quick pace. Inspiring, 100% want to do this race one day.

Completely worth the wait, THANK YOU Jamil and team for taking the time, effort and care to make this film and share it with us all 🙏 I've always enjoyed following Jamil's adventures when he films them and this was even better between the lead up clips with both Jamil & Nick and then this actual film of both brothers' runs. Congratulations as well on the runs, both of you did extremely well, particularly considering the situations you were both in going into it this year!

Super video. In addition to being really kind human beings, Nick and Jamil are seriously talented athletes. Bravo. Though my chances are slim, seeing this has motivated me to throw my hat in the ring for 2023!

Absolutely great video of the course. I ran in 09’ as well. We were on some of the same trail marking groups with Charlie leading the way, or more precisely bringing up the rear. Staying at his pace kept me from overdoing it and I was fresh on race day. Remember you and Nick tearing it up as you disappeared into the distance when marking from Maggies’ to Sherman. It was a memorable day.
