I started playing eFootball two weeks ago and it's genuinely so refreshing. I sincerely recommend everyone to download it and try it out. The best thing is that it doesn't take a lot of effort to start playing, the game is free, you can always train and make your favourite players irl competent instead of waiting for promo cards for them like in FIFA, and your team don't become outdated. It can be an escape every time you are tired of EA.

Well gameplay is King though and the most important thing. It's just that EA slowly made their customers forget that and spend more time in menus and sbc than actually playing lol. But yeah eFootball is poor content wise and must improve for sure in that department.

I feel robbed Cause the runs, the positioning and just overall game is like real football. I just saw a player run from midfield into space without pick triggering a run. Why can't EA just ask real footballers what they would in a match then implement it? Maybe we're wrong to just assume that because they develop a football game that they know anything about football, just pay a pro attacker, midfielder and defender to tell you where and how they would handle every situation

This is how you can tell apart pack animations. So if the circle inside the stadium is yellow you got a legend, if its green you got a special card and if its white you got a base card, when you get a legend, sometimes the circle on the stadium starts showing rainbow colors and sometimes a black one as well. If you get only the purple color, you probably just got baited by konami

Usually the tell for the open animation is what colour the band between the upper and lower tier of the stands is (green = featured player in the pack, like we saw in his first two packs, white = fodder, gold = epic, and red = Big Time) but the Baggio pull was a major fake out lol

FIFA has me learning fighting game pretzel combos just to get past VVD. 💀 PES, there is more general space before the defenders come in to close the gaps, but you can also exploit their momentum, hence why dribbling feels slightly better. They make an error on an input while defending and they are beat. The main way to score is to exploit space which is actual football not 15 skill moves just to get inside the box.

During the last two decades, i played both. Experienced the Golden Era of PES highlighted by the best football game I ever played with PES 6 and its downfall when (back then) new gen consoles that has been the PS4. This PES 14 was hot garbage (like the original efootball21 release version) on PS5 gameplay) that made me come back to fifa for a couple of years until this new frostbite engine was introduced. As long as fifa is on frostbite it's a big turn off for me and nothing will change. Efootball24 is clearly the better game (tried ea fc24 for a few games online, hot garbage gameplay, dont care about SBC and stuff because i want to play football) right now on the pitch even it has some major issues as well. Mostly missing modes offline and edit mode is still missing. And the coop mode can (despite the event) only be seen as a beta version od this mode. But at least they fixed the gameplay (it is not on PES21 level in terms of physics and ball physics) mostly (passing is still an issue and the AI pressing is OP). But OVR you can have a good game experience (even if you pick up a laggy game here and there). It takes a few weeks to learn the game mechanics like not pushing sprint all the time because it decreases ball control a lot...

i used to love fifa but when they started giving everyone 99 pace and 99 dribbling 5 star skills i started to not enjoy it as much like for me the gameplay was repetitive like i would just be up against the same teams and i hated how you needed to do crazy amount of skill moves or run down the line to make a break or start a attack in efootball since you can build and level up your players it makes them feel unique and of course tactics are tactics but with this game you dont even need to use much skill moves to build and start your attack like idk why but ea started giving everyone random ass stats like what happened to players who actually deserved 5 stars skills or fast players being the only players with them now its like everyone and their moms have 5 stars skills and 99 pace i know efootball looks weird without the license of teams and the kits looks weird and a lot of people have p2w squads but its not impossible to beat them i once beat a full p2w squad with a past and present bayern squad and most of my players were from the free packs they give out or gp players

This game has also bullshit happening many times mostly due to bad connections and lag that desynchronizes the gameplay, but the general feel of it when you play or even when you watch it, the way the players move, the physics, the ball, nearly everything makes much more sense than FC/FIFA and feels much more natural and closer to the actual sport in real life. FIFA is just a joke at this point realistically speaking and in physics. There's no foot planting, players gliding all over the pitch and it feels like a fucking hockey game. The ball there feels like you're playing pinball and in general feels like Shaolin Soccer simulator for 12 year olds. If you actually like football and watch it in real life it's hard to like that game because it just doesn't feel like football. eFootball looks and feels much closer to actual football. And even about the graphics that people bitch about, it's not actually that bad at least on ps5. Yes some players with outdated faces like Modric look kinda ridiculous but there are tons of realistic looking players that look very good and very close to real life. In FIFA the models look like wax models and too cartoony. I don't know where people see these ''amazing graphics'' there..

Also you're playing Messi wrong, you're using his CF card in amf where his playstyle ( deep lying forward) is nulled so he doesn't perform that well, you should use him as a CF or SS. If you packed the 2015 or 2009 Messi both are better than this one in regards of stats and playstyle. So you could've played them at amf
