yeah, idiots here and on reddit say "just learn to defend" while thats not a even problem, problem is you do everything perfectly and your player stunlocks him self in animation when the ball is in his feet, or the ball just bounces back with 0 logic and physics to attacker, or even more commonly player just do not attempt to take or intercept the ball that is right next to him even if you spam the buttons. This is literally the worst FIFA i have ever played and im playing since 97

And even with precision shooting I do crazy shots and Pickford becomes van der saar and blocks crazy wide open shots while my courtois lets in everything unless I move keeper

Nick, your a good Fifa player who is struggling with this game. This makes it less painfull for the common folks like us. Iam not a great fifa player and usualy get 11 wins in champs, but my god i cant seem to win in this game. I do most things right and then get the counter trough ball or biline cut inside and its done. We are back to pingpong football. Constant pressure is more OP then ever and the players dont seem to get tired. I refuse to play that boring just to get the win, but if EA cant balance the game i will probably quit early this year.

The team that is down will get the ball more when it's bouncing everywhere they'll glide off your defender when you try to get physical and the team that is up will get less interceptions and have "more lag" like for example when you shoot and your player takes ages to actually do it. Allows for more come backs

Call me crazy but I enjoy this years gameplay. Yeah there are some dumb rebounds goals and shit but the defending is easy with advanced defending on. This game is more about patience and passing then running down the line like last years game.
