Unfortunately on Gottmik’s Instagram, in older photos there’s been some hate comments that have concerned his gender identity and the fact that he does drag. You could scroll through and find some if a filter hasn’t been added yet. One notable one ‘You literally just transitioned just to play dress ups’ and that comment constantly went at people responding in defence. Just because you don’t see it, doesn’t mean it isn’t happening. Also Gottmik himself has tweeted about being on the receiving end of transphobic comments

I'm a trans-masc guy who's always been infatuated with drag and gnc fashion, I've loved the idea of trying to do drag myself for so long, but always been afraid I wasn't *manly* enough to do it, as contradictory as that may sound, but you've already been such a huge inspiration! I love Dragula for having shown drag kings and afab drag queens in mainstream (Dragula isn't that mainstream, but still a huge inspiration for me and many others), but seeing a trans guy drag queen has made me feel so inspired and validated!
