The problem with the American Queens on Snatch Game is they pick some young pop singer to impersonate. I think the bar is a bit higher in the UK. To be at all successful at drag here, you need to have some comedy chops and be able to do live vocals (not necessarily good singing, but Bimini and Lawrence Chaney are good examples of non-singers who will still work live). Being a looks and lip sync queen only won't get a queen very far here.

So "like the ship, she likes to go down" is a reference to the sinking. "The lady's not for turning" is quite a famous quote from one of Thatcher's first party conferences as PM; it kind of defined her inflexible attitude and became something of a motto.
