They're always asking for consistency and interesting characters and in my opinion that is exactly what Max provided. missael soto Yeah, and he was supposed to be a good actor. He had to do some of the toughest things - like do a dragged up version of Courtney, and work with Pearl on the Despies - but he didn't always succeed at those, and the Snatch Game character was his choice. I loved his shtick and his costumes, and I think he's a smart actor, but the issue with having a shtick is that in this race, you have to show the judges that you can wow them with something else as well or they'll send you home.

The thing with Merle I completely agree with. It shocked me that the jurors did not get that. Max (and others) took completely the right take on this to make it funny (caricature of Merle as seen by Michelle and vice versa) I think Max was playing her compassion for others for the camera though. What Trixie said about her was more in keeping with the impression I got of her - introverted person, does her own thing, smart, doesn't hang out with others much. But as a drag queen, well, I think she did not switch it up much, her character and looks were good, but it was often the same. And she did not have the big personality that Katya and Ginger have. Good actor though.

I don't necessarily think she was playing up the big-hearted role. That was Ginger. But yeah, she wasn't a huge personality like Katya. Everything about Max was a lot subtler.Even the shade she threw at Courtney and Kennedy.Max has said hat she was restrained on the show because she knew her granny and kid brother were watching. You just need to watch her ShakesQueer mini chLLENGE TO KNOW HOW MUCH SHE CAN ACTUALLY crazy it up as a character. She has left such an impression, kooky and restrained as she is.
