Probably because Ru didn’t like how Utica walked the runway, he said so on the show. And he loved Gottmik. Gottmiks brought looks, ie the ones she had made for her, were probably slightly better than Uticas, but her made look was nowhere near as good as Uticas.

Id actually watch a whole show about her creating her amazing looks.
