Derek Pink no its actually not justified. As someone who doesnt even Love val, even i saw that she was wrongly put in the bottom on AT LEAST the snatch game where monet should have 100000% been bottom. I also think monet should have been btm 1st episode which all would have changed the elimination episode. I cant even watch the show anymore its so ridiculous regarding the judging decisions and this is the opinion of the majority. I love this! One of my favorite tutorials, ever. You've got the really in-depth technical geometry (and reasoning behind everything) combined with the freaking adorable cartoon sound effects. (And I'm glad I'm not the only one that makes silly Batman noises for everyday things.) I've never watched a Valentina tutorial before, and honestly, my original thought was like "Well, you're already gorgeous -- can't be that complicated," but it's cool to see how much thought and planning and art and strategy goes into that mug.

Her acting was /amazing/. Her singing needs some work. Today for You, Tomorrow for Me, got a little rough there at the end. I would LOVE to see her get some more training and try again. I think with more vocal control, she'd kill it.

@@viviandarkbloom4248 that's right, I completely forgot about that. Damn you Fox for not having understudies and Brennin for breaking your ankle! It's really a shame she's getting so much hate for it because she's got a great singing voice, chest and falsetto. You could tell she was aware of when she'd start to go a little flat or start dropping back into her chest voice because she's pull back up, so she's clearly got an ear. That song is just really hard, especially with the choreography. So, for someone who isn't trained in musical theatre, she did very well. I just wish we could have seen what she could really do, given time. Maybe she'll get another chance in a different production of Rent though - she's still young and it's still in demand 😉
