Was born in QE hospital St Michael to a South African mother who died giving birth to me. My dad is half Canadian and took us to England when I was 5. That was 1990. I came back in 2017 and haven't wanted to leave since!!!!!

I celebrated my 30th in Barbados staying at a villa on Sandy Lane August of 2012 and in that moment I became a cousin to that island.. I heard this song so many times during the parades, juvie', etc... It's encompasses my ENITRE time on the island.. I absolutely LOVED my Bajan experience!!!!!! Will be going back again...

Feeling the true spirit and warmth of beautiful Bims inside my soul as i hear this tune. Although i am not Bajan, infact i am a British born Asian- Barbados feels like my home away from home.
