Okay, but hear me out... Persona 5 as a stylish, 16 bit era Platformer Beat 'Em Up a la Ninja Gaiden or Bionic Commando, tight and fun platforming with a heavy emphasis on movement sections with double jumps and swinging/grappling punctuated by fights, and eventually, perilous fights over platforms, slowly being allowed to learn how to deal with new enemies and hazards like Megaman, and having swappable personas that change your specials, slowly ramping up to the bonus True Ending Stage, where mastery of each ability and each Persona's movelist would be the only way to clear a maddening hard, checkpoint-starved gauntlet of the toughest enemies, tricky platforms, bottomless pits, and rematches against the toughest bosses and sub bosses, culminating in a four phase True Final Boss where by the end Adam Cadmon is so huge you have to climb up to be able to hit him once, dodging bullet hell projectile spam and flying enemies, but you get Satanael, who gets a triple jump, a glide, and big, powerful bullets with a decent fire rate, making the fight feel like you're both overpowered assholes just racing to be able to take down the other before they collapse. And it ends with you and Maruki having a turn based RPG battle while you slug each other while you bro it out, before finally a short escape level, and credits. Tell me you wouldn't play it.
