Dear Jurwaan brothers, This topic of credit or non credit is very close to my heart and I am super sensitive to it. First of all, I love this song.thanks to Wajih, Tarun, and you guys. You see it was Tarun's job to inform GEO and the movie producer, in writing about both of you and your contribution. As for as the phrase " Ehram e Junoon " which according to you was written by Hazrat Bedam Shah Warsi, an Indian , in the 17th century. First of all, in that century there was no Pakistan, so the whole subcontinent was first Hindu, then Hidustan, and then India in British Raj. Secondly, this is just one expression with 2 words, and therefore such a minor amount for credit. If it was the whole poem/poetry, or half the poem or even whole stanza, then it would have been worth it. With this kind of issue, what makes me feel is a lopsided/unjust situation between India and Pakistan. Just look at what the Bollywood has been doing from the sixties until today. They have been copying Pakistani compositions and plus lyrics many times, while the original artist is living, and who verified with Indian media that his art was being copied. I am talking about Ustad Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan, Noor Jehan, Mehdi Hassan, Atta Ullah Khan, and Sajjad Ali, etc. Nusrat's hardly any Qawwali left which is not copied. Jubin, as late as 2020 and 2021 sang Nusrat's Qawwali compositions, and I heard him dare say that because of his work he is spreading the original singer's talent now to more people. What a shameful statement. This is ethically and legally violation of copy right laws. You can not use the original talent's work without the expressed written consent and payment . Dear brothers, please do a show someday on BOLLYWOO THE WORLD'S BIGGEST CHAAPA FACTORY. There are 9 episodes of it, including Nusrat ji's interview. You can find it on KZbin. Besides, there is no one show of Indian singing competition, which has no Pakistani song. This is wrong because they are making money by doing so. They must pay for it. Sorry my dear brothers, I am absolutely against any party, regardless of the country, against copying without permission and payment. It is about time that India Pakistan make laws to allow legal action against the violation of copy right laws. I am sorry to be so long. I admire your shows and admire your talent. I think you should offer your services as music directors to Pakistani producers. I will be excited to enjoy it !!!
