Our Rural California Kit House concept is designed to work on a variety of slopes found in California’s coastal and rural areas. Designed with steel stilt construction with site flexibility and fire-resistance in mind, the 1,100 square foot house is 20’ wide x 55’ long with a single bedroom, full bath plus powder room, office, full kitchen, and a great room with adjoining outdoor deck. The compact house sports an efficient layout by minimizing the sleeping quarters and maximizing the open plan social spaces. Extra tall ceilings and an abundant use of glass make the compact space feel expansive. Designed for ease of construction and simplified living with a connection to nature at its heart.
