I have the Hydrostatic (RK 37 HC). My experience so far has been wonderful and only a couple issues regarding loose fittings, etc. The Mobil Mechanic was here quickly (I live exactly betwixt the Morganton NC Store and the Wythville Va. store) so that was a factor on purchasing it. It would cost me $350.00 or more round trip to have to take it in . As you; I considered the great warranty to be a plus but hope it continues with no major issues and I never use it... Really none of my business but I question why no grapple was bought considering your use of the tractor. That attachment is the cat's meow with trees/brush and even some earthwork if careful! But, the 3rd function addition isn't free or the Grapple either...LOL. That's why I don't have a backhoe or flail mower yet... BTW: a backup camera is great if you trick it to stay on all the time. I mounted the monitor where a rear view mirror would go. Thanks for posting.

Thanks for watching my friend! I am actually considering the grapple more and more lately. I'll have to check on the prices again. I have knocked a few of my hydraulic hoses loose and had to retighten them also. Only problem is I am working on a hill so I am afraid to pick trees up and turn sideways with them.

Another question.....What is the max spread on the backhoe stabilizer feet....? I'm trying to figure out if it could be dropped and stored in a shipping container.
@JimmyLeeTennessee9 ай бұрын
I'll take a measurement for ya as soon as i can, but it won't matter- you can let them down against the walls to rest the hydraulics if that's your concern
@weeweed869 ай бұрын
I want to be able to take it off inside the container to store it when not in use.
@JimmyLeeTennessee9 ай бұрын
@weeweed86 I see! 100 inches would be needed to give you enough room for the feet to pass by the walls on their way down. You may also be able to place them right above the ground and then back in. Hope that helps!

@@JimmyLeeTennessee Thank you for checking. I'm torn between the RK25 and now the RK37.

How much can the front bucket lift? Many of these small tractors are weak in that area. They will all lift a full bucket of dirt, gravel, etc but not much else.
@JimmyLeeTennessee5 ай бұрын
@tblackwell49 the book says a little over 2100lbs. Let's put it this way, I have NEVER ran into something it can't lift. I have been nothing but amazed by the power of the front bucket.
@tblackwell495 ай бұрын
Thanks, I have a Kubota B21. Built like a tank but only 21 hp. Front bucket rated for App 1,000 lbs including the weight of the bucket itself. Dedicated backhoe works great but hydraulic pump barely adequate. Tractor weighs app 4,000 lbs. Great small tractor but need more power.
@JimmyLeeTennessee5 ай бұрын
@tblackwell49 well this will definitely not disappoint. The front bucket has enough power to pick the back end up sometimes even with a backhoe attached.

I believe right under 300 bucks, I'll check the receipt in the safe next time I'm in there

my neighbor has that machine (tym 394) i have the tym t494 (same as rk55 or tym t574)with no turbo. we both own hst rops. both machines are fine. but the 37hp t394 rk37 have a yanmar engine. the t494 t574 rk55 have the tym kukje engine. both are fine engines but the yanmar engines are loud and have 6 computers and 21 sensors. the kukje engines are mech. fuel inj. and are smooth and quiet with one or two computers and 6 or 7 sensors. the tym 49hp and 54hp seem to be better quality. if you get a chance try out a t494 and go rops for the woods. all these tym tractors are fine machines. if you plan to keep a long time go with the t494 rops (non turbo)

The rk 55 doesnt have a turbo? I thought it was a 554 and that would be a turbo tractor. So its would be more like my 454?

No none of those things, just want to watch a tractor vid after watching all the stupid shit on tic tok. I have a tym 454 shuttle shift and has been a great tractor. Dude my 454 has ll, l , m ,h. I love the work ranges vs my dads ls 573 that has 3x4. I have a 710g deere hoe, so I dont run tractor hoes, I cant say anthing. My 454 has been great overall, and that is a tym built tractor, correct?
