I pity the orphaned children. They really need more government help and assistance. On the brighter side, at least they have access to education. Donations should be given only to recognized charity organizations, not to donation boxes or individuals since the money could be pocketed. About the crocodiles, I agree that they should have a bigger place or better still, a natural habitat. You're quite different from other British vloggers since you zero into the "real" raw life unlike those who focus mostly on luxurious lifestyle. It should be combination of both.

I agree, sadly charity scams happen all over the world so it’s important to donate the money only to recognised organisations. But yes, I have to say, given the situation, they mostly looked happy and at least had access to education and could play with the other kids of the same age. Let’s look at the positives too. Those people are Vietnamese indeed. Not Cambodians.

Certainly, the majority of people we saw at the village were Vietnamese, we were told that Cambodian people live there too but the school was only for Vietnamese children

@@OlaLily The Vietnamese live in that situation because they’re migratory people like Turkic and Mongolian nomads. They migrated down to Cambodian territory (like how Turkic people migrated to Greek territory) in search for autonomy so they live as outcasts. Or so I’ve been told. Their homeland is in Southern China or what is present-day Hanoi. They are fairly new to Southeast Asia. Only been there for 3-400 years. Whereas Khmers, 4,000.

I was thinking that, at least in the majority, the people we saw were Vietnamese but I assumed Cambodian people were living there too since our Cambodian guide said so, I am still confused about that and would like to learn more

The terrible thing is eat, drink, bath, restroom, cook, wash are using same waters...every day.😢 that's nasty.
