Rural Route 4 - Old MacDonald

Some awesome jokes beforehand! The 1986 Barbershop Harmony Society International Champions the Rural Route 4 sing songs from their Friends and Relatives album. This is their 25th anniversary year and they will perform many times throughout the first week of July. Please buy tickets to their shows, as this is a once in a lifetime performance that you don't want to miss. Personally for me the RR4 were the first quartet I really listened to and Friends and Relatives was the first CD I ever owned and memorized. What was yours?

i can imagine a lot of 'comedy' quartets looking at rural route 4 and just thinking "what are we doing with ourselves" because even in spite of all the corny jokes and repetition, this is absolutely hilarious and i love it.

Do these guys know how to sing, crack jokes, and just plain out have fun, or what?!? Wheeeeeeeeeee!!!!! Loved it! It sure beats the fire outta having to put up with sitting in a meeting of some sort, listening to the speaker drone on and on about a bunch of nothing. Imagine that: being in a board meeting, (or in some of these old formal, twice dead, plucked up by the roots, kinds of churches), where the speaker drones on and on so much, that you end up taking the best nap you've ever had, right there in the pew! This, and a few churches I've been in, has life to it!

+Dncrgurl I got to see them as a kid. My Dad was a barbershopper. Montevideo, MN in the 80's They were really good and funny. I was always uninterested my Dad's music, but these guys and the Bluegrass Student Union were so good. Thirty years later I'm looking for them on youtube. Just incredible performers.
