The remake feels 'dead' like Kenshin is a block of wood or stone or something lifeless. He doesn't have scenes where he is just doing nothing and playing with Ayame and Suzume and Doctor Gensai (Kaorou's little sisters) or cooking just fooling around with his friends. He just fights and wins and sleeps.
