Believe it or not this is actually a film that changed Japanese films, it stepped up the pace stepped up the feels, everything, it made sure it was the best, and bam, now Japan has a new model to follow, and I think future films from Japan will obviously aim to do well like this one. They say it even created a new genre of film.
