Those only apply to SSJ3 and SSJ4. SSJ2 is literally just slightly spiked hair with lighting. Other than Gohan, everyone else’s SSJ2 look was almost unnoticeable from SSJ1 sometimes. At that points I’ll rather take SSJG with the slimmer body design, or SSJB with it’s beautiful aura (same with God).

I could understand why SSJ2 is underrated; appearance-wise it only adds lightning and messes with your front bangs/makes your hair subtlely spikier(unless you're not Son Gohan at the age of 9 years old). Plus, it immediately got overshadowed in the sagas after it was introduced, same with the fate as the original SSJ. I mean, as soon as SSJ2 came along, it was getting bodied by Cell after he explodes but regenerates. Then, in the saga after, its original user gets a transformation that outshines it (Potential Unleashed/Ultimate/Mystic) and another user of it achieves an entirely new upgrade to the base form (SSJ3) and the third user's uses of it aren't even acknowledged because of a third-party power boost getting all the credit for it (Majin Vegeta). Plus, as soon as Majin Saga is finished, SSJ2 gets power-crept by god forms. Ol' Super Saiyan Two had it rough.

Yeah idk if that's anything other than a ssj2 though. Like in dbs manga chapter 15 future Trunks uses a powered up ssj2 state to spar with ssj3 goku. While a lot of people do see this as a separate form, I think its just ssj2 and Trunks was initially just holding back. Same with vegeta against Beerus in BoG. Honestly, I think Ultra Ego is my favorite form for Vegeta. Just this raw potential of a saiyan prince given the power of gods to truly flourish. I’ve heard people complain about the name since nowadays ego has that association with being self centered, but it also basically just means the true self. As accustomed to earth life as Vegeta has become, he’s still Vegeta, a battle hungry saiyan prince craving the destruction of everything in his way, and Ultra Ego targets that, throwing everything away and stripping himself down to his true self, or his literal ultra ego. And even with all that, it’s shown that he can struggle to maintain the form because while it is his “true self”, it isn’t him entirely. He does still care about things other than battle now, and I find that really interesting. Even without getting into it’s power, it’s just the perfect form for Vegeta as a character. Anyone can hypothetically become any other form, so long as you’re a saiyan, and especially ultra instinct as instinct is inherent to all living things. But Ultra Ego is unique and personal to Vegeta, more so than most other forms in the series.

So I have a theory about Super Saiyan Rage. They didn't go into it as much in the Anime, but Trunks was officially apprenticed to the Supreme Kai while training for the conflict with Buu. In the Manga, rather than SS Rage, this came out as the ability to heal others the way Kabito could, but what if in the Anime, his apprenticeship granted him a degree of Godly Ki that came out in the form of Super Saiyan Rage? I know one major hole in this theory is that Gohan also trained with the Supreme Kai, but I don't think he was actually apprenticed to him the way Trunks was. Kabito gave him the clothes and all, but that was more out of annoyance that he was dressed in a vulger manor and he was giving him an outfit that was more appropriate to visiting the Holy World of the Kais. On the other hand, maybe Gohan was granted some Godly Ki, but after the ritual with the Elder Kai he was never pushed to the point where he needed to draw upon it.

He wasn't given any new power, it was already there. In the Super Manga, Trunks was explicitly stated to have been apprenticed to the Supreme Kai, and that granted him powers and abilities that are inherent to the office. It was a plot point because he was able to heal Vegeta after they ran out of senzu. What I'm proposing is that he may also have been granted a small amount of God Ki as part of his apprenticeship. It has nothing to do with having his inherent potential unlocked.

For me, SSJ Rage was supposed to be a sort of evolution of SSJ2 for Hybrid Saiyans. Since Trunks was the only one to unlock it and it came from the rage he felt at Zamasu and Goku Black in the future telling him that everything was all his fault. The anger he had sort of broke the limits he had before and gave him this transformation.

Correction. The pseudo super sayan was also seen by vegeta on namek. When he screems one of his memorable lines, "I AM A SUPER SAYAN" at freeza and then proceeds to miss 100 ki blasts. You see vegeta in the distance with the golden aura around his silhouette but still with black hair. It was a great scene. I always wondered what it was called. But yea goku wasn't the only one.

When the Super Saiyan was imagined before Goku achieved it, the legendary Super Saiyan was illustrated as an Ozaru silhouette with a golden hue. Guess what form you achieve right before SSJ4? Vegeta also refers to Goku as wielding power that should only be achieved in a great ape form or something to that extent while they were on Namek. Story wise it could fit.

I believe that goku will eventually master the full ultra instinct form. Whether it is true mastered ultra instinct or something above that. I have a theory that MUI is still incomplete and its more like he's able to use the UI properly instead of it being mastered. And i think that once goku achieve the True Version of UI that the angels use, it will be fully white instead of silvery. It would make sense since the silvery colour of MUI could hint that it is still imcomplete which TUI proves that and also the angels have fully white hair. It can also homage the first ssj form which was first drawn completely white instead of golden yellow. This form provides the perfect balance of himself and Ui, His instinct, and his true self being similar to whis.

Part of why I can't stand Super is that it took the joke that DBZ was just "this isn't my final form" the anime and made that actually true. They don't even make the effort to add any aesthetic change besides hair color for sayains. Nothing means anything when everyone just has another form and esp easy to rely on it as a plot point when all you need is to use a different marker.

In the Heroes anime when they fight against Xeno Black Goku SSJ Rosé Max Power, Goku and Vegeta do the Fusion dance and Come out as regular Gogeta Blue, but after literally a couple seconds he transforms into a form that has similiarities both to Vegeta Blue Evolution and Goku MUI, most notably the pupil from evolution being slightly more white/pale and a weird silver Aura around Gogeta that is similar to ultra instinct. This means this form is an hybrid of Blue Evolution and Ultra Instinct achieved by the fact they're fusioned.

I mean... Great Ape isn't a "Super Saiyan" form, so I don't really know why that's in the list, same with the Tuffle forms, beast gohan, ultra instinct/ego etc etc, these are separate forms that don't necessarily require you to A) Be a Saiyan and B) Be a Super Saiyan

I like false super Saiyan. It's theorized that the reason it happens is because the user IS strong enough to transform into a super Saiyan, but emotionally they aren't there yet. Like, they're just not pushed far enough to fully snap and let the rage overtake them. So it's neat in my opinion if that IS the case.

Super Saiyan 2 and God are honestly the most underrated forms in the series. 2 is my personal favorite and for good reason. Sure, it’s not much of a design change, but Gohan’s transformation is one of the best moments in the whole franchise. The emotions, the culmination of Gohan’s character at this point, and the mystery surrounding Super Saiyan 2. The form didn’t even have a name when it was first revealed, it was just known as a form above Super Saiyan. Before Super Saiyan 2, the idea of going beyond Super Saiyan was unheard of. Sure, there would be different types of base Super Saiyan, but it would always be some variation of the base form. 2 was the first instance of a real new Super Saiyan form and I feel like people forget that. While God doesn’t have the same amount of impact, it’s design is definitely one of the better ones in the series. It’s subtle, but the form just looks softer, more tranquil. It’s very pleasing to look at once you notice the subtle changes. It feels like less of an evolution and more like a transcension of Super Saiyan into this godly form. The softer look could also be a reference to the softer style Toriyama had before Dragon Ball turned into the action series it’s known as.

tbh the next logical conclusion would be a fusion between Vegata in his Ultra ego form and Goku in his True ultra instinct form. Mixing the relentless and careless nature of Ego with the focus and precision of UI. I could imagine it having a quite menacing transformation, a silent composed but never ending assault that only gets stronger if any counter strikes lands. Would make a for a neat one tbh. Maybe call it "Ultra Violet"

Just because something does not exist irl does not mean it is cringe, however there are concepts of Ulta instincts irl that does exists as it is a Zen concept "Mushin is achieved when a person's mind is free from thoughts of anger, fear, or ego during combat or everyday life." and just because it is called a mind without a mind IT does not mean you don't think And auto pilot in of itself is not bad IF you have actual experience to fall back on in general. Usually when someone auto pilots that means something is too easy for them and they need to challenge themselves Pretty much free yourself from fear, anger, and ego and you achieved enlightenment. Im not questioning or invalidating your fighting abilities, but from my experience in martial arts I could very easily fall into muscle memory when doing forms/practice. I would think of it as a form of meditation, but in reality I was just entering something known as flow state. When it comes to actual fights, quick analysis and execution DOES means everything. But if you can enter flow state (or in dragon ball ultra instinct) you'll be 100% focused on the battle and it'll be like your moving your body instinctually. Ultra Instinctually, if you would LMAO

@@RamielEdits flow state of mind/the zone as some call it, is pretty much identical to the Zen concept Mushin no shin or mind without a mind if translated to English Falling into muscle memory is not a bad thing if you have the experience to back it up which is why there is sparing to drill stuff into your muscle memory. However you must be careful to not drill bad practices into your muscle memory A mistake a lot of sports martial artists do is always going all out in their practice and training and sparing as you need to learn when to hold back. Reason why it is a mistake is because when you get into the sparing part you could hurt your sparing partner by accident because you don't know how to hold back, and if you are a black belt that is even worse as the sparing match is pointless then as you are treating it as a real match to win not a learning opportunity or teaching opportunity And if you are doing a belt test then you are not really evaluating the teste's skill or knowledge of the kata up to that point you are just forcing them into a perma guarding stance or turtling. Which is why holding back during sparing is something you need to drill in for sports martial arts, especially if you are point sparing as all you need to do is just make contact and you get the point you don't need any power into it at all just speed By the way i don't like point sparing as it is a mockery of martial arts, as you throw everything you learned out the window except for a counter attack or two and just blitz for the point. Like i am all for gamifying but there are some things that are just too far as you have to break it up and go to your corner once a judge has called that one of you got a point
