She was not mentally stable and the fame got to her, so her death was pretty much unavoidable, no one would have expected that she would jump for such a thing and that’s the sad part.

This is such a fantastic cover!! I’m a person who has struggled with suicidal thoughts and severe Attention Deficit Disorder and Social Anxiety. Currently, I am having a hard time making friends in my new school which makes stuff worse but I’m trying to work on it. This song hits me hard, especially since I’m very close to Rorochan’s age when she committed suicide. It’s nice that there are people who understand what I and other people are going through and to see people supporting awareness about mental health. 💙

Ruru chan is not an accurate representation of only Roro but of all of the deaths cause of suicide in Japan specially young aged people. However you can still draw ruru chan as a tribute for Roro if you want to draw something special for her. Same way happens if you wanna draw ruru as a confort character or a vent character, to cope with stuff's been happening in life. You can enjoy the song too, as it is said, the song is a tribute for all of the suicide incidents that has been happening in Japan but it is seen that many japanese people find the song as something that has saved them. And also you can actually cosplay, junko pose, enjoy, dance, and sing this song and you will not be disrespecting Roro chan nor anyone because RURU CHAN ISN'T ROROCHAN_1999 AND THE SONG IS NOT ONLY ABOUT RORO OR FOR RORO What's the difference between Ruru and Roro? Ruru is a fictional character that was made for the song "Ruruchan no jisatsu haishin"aka "Ruruchan's suicide show on a live stream". The only resemblance between her and Roro is the similar name and.. well that's about it. The song is often said to be a tribute to Roro, but I don't think it is. I believe the song was based upon multiple suicides, and isn't a tribute for just Roro. And like I've said above. THE SONG AND RORO ARE NOT RELATED PLEASE DO NOT USE THE SONG AS EVIDENCE. STUFF FROM THE SONG ISN'T TRUE. I've been listening to Shinsei Kamattechan since 2015. They helped me a lot, and all I have to say is that this isn't a tribute for her. The song that everybody listens ISN'T the original song. You can find the original ruru chan song on Noko's channel (the guy who sings). Noko (the singer and composer of shinsei kamattechan) talks about depression and many other things in their songs, so this isn't a special song. It's a pretty normal one for them, their songs are always "dark" talking about trauma and many things like that. This isn't a tribute for her. Noko himself said that he wrote this song thinking about him and many suicide cases, not in rorochan. I'm kinda sad that 99% of people is uninformed, as I said, the spotify version and the version with the mv isn't even the original one. I hope you guys can pin this or share it, I just want people to know that this song isn't specially made for rorochan or anything, is just another regular kamattechan song. I've been listening to them many years and I watch everyday streams of noko so I know what I'm talking about. Thank you so much.

Ruru Chan is a tribute to Roro! But yes, the music isn't. The parts that inspired the character ruru are: "jump straight to the chuho line", and it is used as reference for two things: Roro said once that she was throwing herself in front of vehicles to 'see what happens' and also the train that was near her house, the one that you can hear near the end of the live. And her design was based on the real roro, most specifically one moment where you can see her reflection and she says "oh no!". At this moment you can see half of her face because her cellphone was on the other half and that's what gave the idea for the design. It was also inspired on an anime called magical girl site. So yeah, ruru is about suicidal people, but it took inspiration on her story. I hope i cleared things up for u!

People are unfortunately spreading false information, which I understand because details can get messed up when something happened many year ago. Because of that, I thought right to correct everyone. 1. “Roro died after 3 hours.” She did not die after three hours. She fell and survived for about 5 minutes (maybe more) and then died. There was an article which I cannot find again since I do not speak Japanese, but the woman who found her said her lungs were still working and she had a pulse. She was declared dead after three hours. 2. “Roro was abused and bullied!” She was not abused in real life, she was just sexually harassed by older men on the internet. The only abuse she was given was that she was neglected by her mother. She was not bullied in real life either, just on her live-streams. You can see this by looking at class photos. 3. “Roro screamed when she fell!” She didn’t scream. I saw the video of the livestream. (I did not see the livestream in 2013, when it happened, but there is a reupload of the video here on KZbin. I will not link it because it breaks youtube guidelines) People get this from when her phone fell, the wind made a noise that people thought was her screaming. Before she fell, she said “scary” and “I can’t do it” in Japanese. 4. “Everyone was telling her to jump.” This is not true, everyone was telling her to go home, and only maybe two people asked her to do unsavory things. Please do not spread false information and jump to “spreading awareness” when you do not know the whole story. (sorry for my not accurate english, it is not my first language. if you’re seeing this twice it’s because I copy and pasted this on a few different rorochan videos)

This sounds great, keep up! Yeah, the nature of this song is pretty saddening, which contrasts with the happy pastel art and the instrumental, here your vocals pretty much give out those sentiments Roro must have had deep within her heart. She did this in order to become a legend, but remember people, that's not the way at all and you all are legends already! I feel like I relate a lot to her even if i didn't go as far. I never live streamed, but made videos talking to myself at 12 etc. I've been suicidal for what felt like half of my childhood all the way to my teens... she was mentally unstable, and talked sexually and made her livestreams sexual titles. When I first got Facebook at 11 (cause my friend made it) I felt so pressured because guys would try to groom me, being presented sexual things from as young as 3 really fucked with my head and made me feel like I didn't belong. Ik we dont know much about her but I really feel for her. You really Express the feeling so well in this cover, I love it so much. Thank you.
