There is no point in talking peace without Russia. It's purely performative at that stage. The longer Ukraine puts off ending the war and starting negotiations, the more they will lose. What I’m wondering is, why aren’t they going after something more valuable, like the railroad networks, transport depots, etc. something that will make more of an impact on Russian logistics and supplies?

It is difficult when the site attacked is a shopping Mall . The last time this happened it was said by someone who had fled Ukraine that the Shopping Centre was closed for months hence the low number of dead . Effectively nightwatchmen . Shopping Malls have all the facilities to become distributions for armaments. Loading Facilities . Large shops become storage facilities . i always take a look at all the different bits of news, a lot of the channels are blatant propaganda but there are a few channels like yours that simply lays the information out, shows multiple sources that all paint a similar picture so that there's definitely something there but then leave it open because it is vague and we don't have all the intelligence to say definitively what they're planning to do. i look at all of this information and come up with my own picture as to what they're looking to do, the Russian playbook is simple and this is a game of chess to them so the moves are going to be meaningful(even if it is a feint or a sacrifice) and you can't look at loss as being "omg we've got em on the run boys!". it's like a Jackson Pollock painting, it looks like a mess with the information but there is a pattern there as nothing is truly random! when i saw the bit about Russia gathering up 1/3 of their strategic bombers coupled with the fact they haven't sent out any major massive drone attacks it tells me that Russia is preparing for something big, there's also their navy that should be arriving in the Black Sea soon and i think they're aiming to secure Odesa and the coast which would put a stop to the drone boats and allow them to fire missiles more safely inland as well as defend the coast with their ground reinforcements. with that done they could move the bulk of the troops up towards Kharkiv and extend the bulls horns in the classic Zulu pincer move, though they may continue to push inland from Odesa a bit and link up with their supporters in Moldova and that would increase their range to push attacks to Kiev from as well as from Russia.

How does a strike on a "crowded" store only kill 12 people? Not diminishing any deaths, even one is a tragedy.... but a damn hand grenade would kill more than 12 people in a crowded store. Either the strike missed by a lot or actual civilians were not the target.

Ukraine seems to want all of the benefits from being part of NATO and the EU and none of the responsibilities. Other EU countries are now sheltering and directly or indirectly propping up at least 15% to 20% of the ukranian population and then sending money to pay the social expenses and government salaries of ukranian authorities. At the same time Ukraine does nothing to contribute to the EU budgets, economy and more. It is actually the reverse - the sanctions that are still being pushed against Russia mean a severe shortage of reasonably priced fuel, raw materials, steal and other building materials. This cannot continue indefinitely. Someone will have to push Ukraine to a more grounded position, as it currently drags down with it a whole continent on strictly ideological beliefs and refuses any peace negotiations.

No, I don't mean the people of Crimea are Russian speaking Ukranians, after all; about half of the Ukrainians speak Russian as a first language, but are still ethnic Ukrainians who consider themselves Ukrainians and love Ukraine. No, I mean the people of the Crimean peninsula are actual ethnic Russians, not just Russian speaking Ukrainians, who have always consider themselves Russian, have always been pro Russian, have always fought for Russia, and, dirty little secret that the media ignores, actually greeted the Russian army as liberators when they annexed Crimea in 2014. Why do you think the Ukrainians literally didn't put up any resistance when the Russians rolled into Crimea? Because many of the local forces, comprised of ethnic Russians, actually defected and sided with the Russian invaders. So how the hell did the Crimean peninsula end up being part of Ukraine? Very simple really; in 1954, for whatever reason, even though the Crimean Peninsula has always been inhabited by Russians and been a part of the Russian homeland, the Soviet Union government in its infinite wisdom decided to transfer governance of the Crimean peninsula from the Russian Soviet Republic to the Ukrainian Soviet Republic, and as such it ended up being part of the new Ukrainian state, that's literally the scope of the Ukrainian claim to the Crimean peninsula. Doesn't it bloody well occur to anyone that as Zelenskii and Biden and Blinken and all the EU Muppets are talking about supporting Ukraine in retaking what is rightfully theirs, i.e. retaking former Ukrainian territories in the far east and Crimea and restoring 1991 borders, they are literally talking about retaking areas were the locals are predominantly ethnic Russians who consider themselves Russians who greeted the Russian army as liberators and actively worked against the Ukrainian army? Like don't get me wrong, the vast majority of Russian speaking Ukrainians from Eastern Ukraine support Ukraine, Zelenskii himself is a Russian speaking Ukrainian, but the guys from the far east aren't just Russian speaking Ukrainians, they are actual Ethnic Russians who are hardcore pro Russia and anti NATO. The media was quick to show little old babushkas in Kharkov Oblast mocking Russian soldiers, but completely ignored footage from the Donetsk of little old babushkas coming out to greet and hug Russian soldiers in the streets. Ukraine got promised protection by the US AND Russia in 1991 at their current borders from aggression IF they give Russia their nuclear weapons. Who broke it? Russia. Secondly, Crimea has not been historically Russian, it was inhabitaed by tatars but was "russified" like a lot of their terroritory, sending the natives to siberia and put russians there instead to change demogrpahic. Does nobody bloody well think anymore??
