The reason why it's called Rush E is because is spams the E key on the piano. E is the 5th of the scale, so the piece is in A minor.

This is actually amazing. Most “playable” renditions of this usually sound like they have to sacrifice some parts of the song that sound good. But you’ve found a way to make it sound great all the way through, and still have it be theoretically playable
