Check out Astrotama on KZbin ! Not only is he an Awesome drummer, and plays to the note. He is also Professor of Astronomy at the U. Of Hawaii. Astrotama also has about 35 to 40 yrs of playing too. On top of that he reads music, which allowed him to learn the songs very well.

Dankeschön! Technisch ist "La Villa Strangiato" schon bei den schwersten Rush Songs, evtl sogar der schwerste, zusammen mit "The Necromancer" Was Komplexität an den Drums angeht, würde ich "Xanadu", "Cygnus X-1", "Jacob's Lader" und "The Fountain Of Lamneth" nennen. Alles Songs mit sehr vielen Nuancen, bei denen man viele Cover auf KZbin findet, die sehr viel übersehen. Am schwersten zu lernen fallen mir songs, in denen viele improviserte Fills sind. Von allen Songs der Ära 1975 bis 1981, tue ich mich tatsächlich am schwersten mit "I Think I'm Going Bald", die Fills kann ich mir einfach nicht merken.

It looks like he has a single mic, possibly just the one on the camera itself. The drums he's using are actually pretty alright, but he doesn't have any of them mic'd like you would see at a concert or in a studio. This is just a normal kit without any studio enhancements, filters, etc.
