His first wife left him and filed for divorce. His second wife had kids like a year or two after she left him so I wouldn’t be surprised if she left him so that could have kids. His ex said he was just to into his work to make any marriage work. I have more of a problem with him putting down drug addicts his entire life all while he was pooping pills. Yes. 30 years listening, watched the TV show during lunch when it was on at a local pizza place. In my humble opinion there are few better MEN. This MAN changed America. I dare say more the Ronald Reagan. We are going to have to deal with the world when he is no longer a voice. A mind. A soul. Who will pick up The Standard? The P.M.O.F. is fitting. In my personal humble opinion it does not begin to designate him as the person that has had the most impact on the U.S. for thirty (30) years. But history is writ. Rush always complained about no smoking laws, he said it didn’t cause cancer. He also complained about alternative energy saying it will never be a replacement for fossil fuels. Would've donated my lungs to him, if it meant Rush serving America for another 15 years. He needed them more than I. For some reason you can donate your heart, but not lungs? I do wish he had never smoked cigars. Imagine you go to the doctor for your annual checkup, and he tells you you have stage 4 lung cancer. Uffff. Then f'ing chemo for a year. No thanks. I'd head to Hawaii and watch the sun set, then take care of business myself once the pain got too bad. Look at Trebek too. Both men with stage 4 cancers, chemo, then death. If they tell me one day I've got that, I'll say Check Please, I'm outta here. But God bless Rush's soul. He stayed on the radio until he couldn't anymore. That's dedication
