This was the only Rush tour where we were so blown away by the end of the first set (2112 complete) that they could have ended the show and we would have been satisfied. I couldn't believe they still had an entire 2nd set to do. Great memories.

I was there. The local radio station PYX 106 treated this as a huge event, and even after the concert they talked about it. I remember calling the radio station and all I could say was "The whole side one of 2112." Then they mentioned that it's been 11 years since Rush played Natural Science live, but all I kept saying was "The whole side one of 2112."

I won tickets to that tour from a local orlando rock station. I'm not sure if I was the right caller, but I gave them the best ad. I just said when they picked up ' did I win did I win - this is gonna be amazing they are playing ALL of 2112 it's gonna be epic. . I was the 'right ' caller LOL

Very happy such a historic moment of Rush's history was captured so well. I would do anything to get my hands on a soundboard recording from this show. It's crazy that there are so many soundboard recordings and video recordings over the years, but you can count on half of one hand how many times both are from the same concert, so we can't sync them together in to what would be an incredible bootleg show. It drives me nuts.

I know! I’m really curious as to why they dropped it.
@trenken9 ай бұрын
@@medmac2112its kind of a deep cut. It didnt get any sort of attention that would warrant to keep playing it on future tours. This album in general didnt get much play from them in the tours that followed. T4E didnt get a great response from fans and is still trashed a lot online. Rush would have been aware at that time that people didnt love it.
@medmac21129 ай бұрын
@@trenken Good point and I completely agree, but it got cut very early into its own tour as well. According to setlistfm it was only played 11 times! They chose to keep the other T4E songs for the rest of the tour so my main question was why they decided to drop that one. I guess they just weren’t feeling it or it didn’t get good enough vibes from the crowd.
@trenken9 ай бұрын
@@medmac2112 yeah i like it but its just a weird song. I like that its weird, it reminds me of old rush in a way, but Id imagine they either didnt like playing it much or didnt think the crowd was too into it.

It reminds me of "old" Rush as well. Alex's "tone" on that song sort of reminds me of Hemispheres for some reason. I really like Time and Motion. One of my faves on that album.@@trenken
