Middletown dreams is my favorite Rush song. This coming from a fan of 40 years and have seen them live 10 times...welcome to the club! I envy you because this was your first listen and I can see by the reaction on your face that you were blown away.....😊

Christopher Power Windows was my first and still favorite Rush Album, and was 15 when it came out absolutely relate. I thought was one of very few Rush fans that would pick this deep track as their favorite but it is. Power Windows is criminally underrated Rush album, and I always liked the "Eleanor Rigby" aspect of Neils great lyrics combined with course amazing production and esp Alex's mournful tone. Agree! And nice to see new people learn what a treasure Rush was (Is?) as a band, and how amazing their music was.

@wolfslynx8118 I think alex said he was more of a team player on power windows filling in the guitar parts as best as he could...of course he went above and beyond the call of duty. My introduction to rush was 1980 as a 9 year old seeing the cover of moving pictures and becoming a curios cat. It was not until 1982 when I saw the video for subdivisions on tv and thought how cool the synthesizers were. 1986 in high school I was a zeppelin nerd thinking they were the coolest. Little did I know a guy in my class wise beyond his 15 year old years said give Rush a try. I was already there all I needed was that push in the right direction....I then listened to signals in its entirety followed by PW. When Middletown dreams played it was the first time in my young life that I was completely blown away by a piece of music. Till this day at 53 years old I still get very emotional whenever I hear it. I will always be forever grateful to Rush and especially Neil for giving me the gift of truly incredible thought-provoking music. Neil was not nobody's hero, he was all of ours.

Love the reaction!! ♥ also.... When he saw the crowds, he had compassion on them because they were confused and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Matthew 9:36

Try Tai Shan. People love to hate it but some, like me, enjoy it. I think you will too. ❤🇨🇦

I think it's funny how people trash Tai Shan. It's a great song! I love the pan flute and the oriental vibe and the lyrics put me there

It's one, that I enjoy as well. Never figured out why some people rag on it so much.
