Man I ain't gonna lie the times have changed. A 5 truck tour in modern times (or 7) would have PA fly techs doing what these 2 guys are doing. Honestly I respect them for getting their hands dirty. It's better than watching the FOH engineers just walk away after the show and not even tip their damn console.

My record is 26 hours on the job. And thats fast paced, multi tasking, not standing around, drinking coffee like a highway worker waiting for someone else to finish their job.

man my longest day was 18 hours, and alot of that was running shows (ie not hard labour ) i thought that was bad!

WOW. I found a comment from 12 years ago this is crazy. Dude that's honestly insane you went from watching a doc about rush to running monitors for the biggest artist in the world. Insanity. Also love your guitar tone videos. Those are dope. Ppreciate ya.

The guys in the helmets are the local teamsters. They aren't a part of the Rush crew.
@Bacopa6811 жыл бұрын
They're either Teamsters or licensed guild electrical subcontractors. The contract unions are are more like a small business cabal. If they get the contract, they call their people up and pay them union scale for short term labor. They pay attention to worker safety and stick to the highest standards of quality because they know that if they slack off, their near monopoly on good jobs is lost.

Bacopa68 the "pushers" are IATSE. (International Alliance of Theatrical Stage Employees) Usually. Depending on the jurisdiction. My wife was a part time dispatcher for the Seattle local, and she made calls for concert tours.
