That synth-heavy section toward the end (4:41) is what really captured me when I first heard this song in the car a couple decades ago. The chords get slightly different (with that recurring F# minor), and it keeps going back to that soul-stirring, majestic G major! Great re-creation, bud.

I've been glued to this song all day. Being a drummer and a HUGE fan of Neils, I'm loving his drum parts OBVIOUSLY! and the lyrics but I wanted to find the keyboard cover part and HOLY MOLY!!! I found a great on here!!! Nice job on this!!! Very cool!!!!!!!! It seems to have went out of sync there for a bit in the middle (yeah at around 2:40 it seems to have jumped out of sync) but still cool to watch!!! Nice job. Even with the technical difficulties.

I'm using the same synth on this song. Using the poly jump patch tweeked a bit and a Moog Rouge on the lead. I also sing and do the bass on a 4001 ric. I have to use my Hammond j212 for bass pedals. People kinda go nuts when they realize that I'm playing all that stuff live with no help.

@@EricAdamsonMI Thank you so much. I ended up learning it all the way through the next day. My boyfriend plays the drums and I recorded him playing the drum part. I put both of our parts together, along with the extracted guitar part, and added us singing. We made our own subdivisions creation. It was very neat.

@rsato1able
@rsato1able 2 жыл бұрын
All sounds used are stock DS patches. I adjust the sounds by using a combination of adding layers, editing MFX, EQ, and the simple user adjustments (cutoff, resonance, attack, sustain). Not perfect but close enough.

This is awesome! Which patch did you use as the base for this?
@rsato1able
@rsato1able 3 жыл бұрын
I started with preset #Sy:139 "80's Saws 3" for the main parts and #Sy:S09 "RajasthaniLS" for the solos. Adjust the resonance/attack/sustain/EQ mods to your liking. The ending section uses the Super Layer function turned on.
